It's one of the best Thai places I've been to. Not the best, also not bad. There was nothing extraordinary about it but it's a good choice.Food: 7/10 Ambiance: 8/10Price: 7/10Parking: century city mallWait time: 15 minutes

When my family and I dined here one Sunday evening, we actually had our Yorkshire Terrier with us but were pleased that the restaurant permitted it as long as we sat on their lightly outer section of the restaurant which was fine with us.Appearance-wise, it is the smallest of the Banana Leaf branches I have dined at but nothing very negative to note. We did have a few issues with flies, which was quite irritating considering that we were still inside the airconditioned mall.Service-wise, the staff were alright and were rather attentive with all of our needs.Food-wise, we ordered the following dishes:Thai Vermicelli Salad (P168)It was our first time to try this dish and as a starter, it was a perfect choice. It was a refreshing mix of sweet and sour plus had a nice crunchy vegetable elements with shrimp. We finished it almost instantly. Roti Canai (P88/pc) and Curry (P30/bowl)One of the tastiest appetizers that they have to offer, the curry sauce is goes well on almost anything. The roti bread is served hot and has a great texture to it.  Deep Fried Pandan Chicken (P188)Another must-have whenever we eat at this restaurant. Four pieces of hot, tasty chicken lollipops wrapped in banana leaves. Half Hainese Chicken (P338)It was a tasty dish but for the price and serving size, I considered it to be okay in terms of value for money. Penang Fried Rice with Salted Fish and Chicken (P188)The rice was somewhat disappointing because the salted fish was not very evident so it lacked in terms of taste. Over-all, I am giving this particular branch a 3.5 because although the food is good and somewhat consistent among most branches - it is nothing that makes me crave going back any time soon. I would recommend it for random lunches or dinners though.

Went in here and order was taken in reasonable time. However that can't be said for the food, far from busy and the time to bring the meals out was very slow. Then ordered desert only to be served the wrong order and after speaking to the manager who has no personality we were still charged for the wrong desert. The manager wasn't really concerned. Won't be back and suggest to any one try elsewhere first.

Returned to Banana Leaf after a long while to relive some childhood memories. This time, we ordered Pad Thai, Laksa, and Thai Iced Tea. Laksa and Pad Thai lacked in flavor and I was very disappointed with the fact that the only meat in it was tofu. Not much to go around but noodles. The Thai Iced Tea saved my disappointment though. Great blend of flavors and the sweetness was just right.

12:00PM the place is filling up with office people. They are offering lunch sets for P199 and P248. Ordered 6 of these and 1 ala carte. Wait time is 15-20 minutes. The ala carte was served in less than 5 minutes but the lunch sets were served - the 1st half was 45 minutes and the next was served after an hour! Other ala carte orders of guests were serve first than our table’s! With the waiters just taking their time going in and out of the kitchen empty-handed. Even ran out of sizzling plates! Worst service without any apology nor sense of urgency from the staff, even the manager!

Ordered a baby back rib and I forgot the name of the other vegetable dish. Food was great and presentation as well. It’s not everyday you get to eat on a banana leaf. Should have been 5 but the place was humid. The aircondition was not functioning well. So yeah. A 4 for now.

The ambiance is a bit cozy and the food is quite good for its price. A good place to celebrate special occasions with your family, friends, officemates/colleagues.

We ate our lunch here yesterday. The place was not packed with customers but it took almost an hour for us to be served! Worst, other tables were served first even if they came in later than us.ADDENDUM : To be fair, the food was really okay. But, the service sucks.

If you’re craving for Roti (like I was today), head on over to Banana Leaf and you will be satisfied! Affordable at ₱88 plus must-have Curry dipping sauce (₱30) and more importantly, delicious! The Curry sauce is mildly spicy just the way I like it. Soooo gooood!!! I tried this decades ago in the old branch in Greenbelt 1 and ever since I’ve been a fan of their Roti with curry sauce (can’t have one without the other)! As for the other dishes, they are okay. Nothing great but not bad either. Especially with a very reasonable price point and even made affordable during weekdays during a certain time (sorry, I forgot the exact time but for sure until 5pm). We had merienda around 3pm and availed of the ₱199 dishes. We got the ff:1. Laksa Noodle Soup - pretty good. Good for sharing for 2 if you ordered other dishes.2. Pork Chop with rice - 1 piece only. Meat was tender.3. Sizzling Black Pepper Beef Rice - this was the least that we liked of all the dishes we ordered.Again, they’re not bad but they’re not amazing either. Since I was craving for Roti in Banana Leaf, we ended up having the other dishes too but if I had a choice, I’d probably spend the ₱200 on a Beef Pepper Rice in Pepper Lunch and would be happier with it. Service in this branch was okay. 👍🏼

Seafood laksa ****Has a nice but light coconut milk soup base with the right spiciness, at least for me. I like that it also had a decent amount of seafood toppings.Nasi goreng nenas ****The smoky and savory flavor gets a break from the pineapple bits.Thai green curry chicken -3.5The sauce was very good with some sweetness, but the chicken was bland. It seems to just rely on the green curry sauce for flavoring.Place 3.5Ample seating, banana leaves are used in place of plates.Service 3.5Courteous waitresses. Serving time of 15mins is acceptable given that the food is only cooked upon order.Price 3.5Slightly expensive for the serving size.Credit cards are accepted.
