Newest addition on the RCBC line of eateries here on the third floor. It is a Yugoslavian restaurant which serve very authentic and distinct tasting meals. I once tried Goulash and was slighty impressed. It is also kind of pricey.

Chicken's a little dry. I hope they will serve more food variety. Mostly are fried. Not good for those on a DIEt. Hehehe. Place was a bit. Hope they will add more light.

You're here to get lunch because you work nearby, theres no other reason for going out of your way to get here. Is the food ok? Yah ok, its ok, its just consumption of something to fill you up. I don't really like it, tasteless food which has nothing really going for it - other then to fill you up.Maybe this is what food will be like when we're in a society where we don't chase the finer things for our senses. Don't go out of your way.

I have been to their branches in Perrea st as well as BGC and this branch in RCBC doesnt represent the other 2 very well (in terms of their interior and ambience). The interior of the place isnt as appealing compare to other restos in the area. Anyway, what I like about this branch is that their menu. They made it easier and budget friendly. You still get the same quality of food that is offered in other branches. Although i cant read their menu, im still satisfied after devouring the food and I'll be back to try some of the dishes that the staff recommended.

I tried Balkan Kitchen's stuffed chicken with tomato. The chicken was moist and perfectly cooked, topped with two strips of bacon and a generous helping of grated cheese. Unfortunately, the sauce was too salty for me. And my tolerance for salt is typically high on most days. There are other items on the menu that I'd like to try in the future. Service is prompt. I like the interiors of this restaurant. Something about it feels young and vibrant. But it tells very little about the country or culture from which the cuisine is from.

From all the restos and cafés available at RCBC, Balkan Kitchen was the one that spoke to me to come and eat. It is not everyday that you get to eat Yugoslavian meals. With it's words difficult to spell and even more difficult to pronounce, eating at Balkan Kitchen will always be a unique experience for anyone.I got beef goulash, extra home-baked bread, and a mad burger. The proportion of the food is big enough for its price and the flavor just bursts in your mouth. Totally worth the money spent. The place was clean and, mostly, white with one wall covered in wallpaper with images (of what I assume to be as famous Yugoslavians). Temperature was just fine, not too hot and not too cold. The seats were comfortable enough and the table size complement the dish size (I have major problems with tiny tables in restaurants). One problem that made me give this absolutely amazing restaurant a 4.5 is that the food takes time to arrive. We were the only customer in the place at the time (because it was too late for lunch and too early for dinner) and we were already really hungry. Props to the staff though, at least I know (hopefully) that food is getting cooked well :)A MUST TRY FOR EVERYONE!

Since they put up a new branch at our building, me and my friends try this Yugoslavian food, though we are not really familiar what Yugoslavian cuisine is all about. The food is really tasty, meat is tender and they served it in a generous amount. They also have a very good interior, its minimal and simple. They also provided great customer service, the crew even taught us how to pronounce their menu. We will definitely dine at Balkan again.

Simple, interesting and a whole lot more.Balkan Kitchen is an interesting restaurant as this is not the usual cuisine that fits the Filipino taste buds. But trying it out is not bad at all.The place is minimalist in designed using white, beige on chairs, yellow on tables and a red sign that says Balkan. It was a great atmosphere for me, not too much but it is also not too less.I ordered the Stuffed Pljeskavica with Mashed Potatoes. But you can also choose to have it with rice or french fries. Pljeskavica is a grilled meat with combination of either pork, beef or lamb. It originated in Serbia but popular among Balkan states. The pljeskavica that they offer is quite different as it is stuffed with mozarella cheese inside. It taste a little salty which is perfect to eat with mashed potatoes as it neautralizes the taste. But I hope they could also offer it in spicy flavor. The mashed potatoes is also good, it was not blant but it was not salty as well. But I need to put some pepper to it.If you are around RCBC plaza, try it out for a new taste bud experience. ✌🏼️❤️

we didn't expect much when we tried dining here at balkan, but we are sursprised how tasty the food was, the meat we ordered is well cooked and it tastes really delicious, I like their mashed potato too, and for the dessert we tried apple pie, all I can say is Fantastic... go for yugoslavian food...

If not for the long lines during lunch time at RCBC, we would have not stumbled upon this quaint place. The place was simple, no-frills yugoslaslav themed eatery. I was excited since I have never tried baklan cuisine before and hesitant at the same time that they might cost me my arm and leg since few people are eating inside during peak hours. I was surprised that I enjoyed it. I was glad we tried it and theres a big possibility we will be back soon multiple times in the future. I had the Ćevapčići (sausage) meal and we shared gaspacho which became my instant favorite. Gaspacho is a tomato based soup with beef and pasta. It's like if Beef brisket would marry a beef mechado would marry and have a baby it would be a yusgoslavian gaspacho. You can eat it with rice or their local bread.
