    I once again had their fried mozzarella and it was nothing short of amazing for me.  I then had their Italian sausage and pest pasta. It was an awesome dish that screamed taste and quality. I like how they complement each other without overpowering one another.

    Have tried all the steak and pasta and I'm so satisfied that we came back three times in a week!  Their steak has the right blend of spices and cooked the way you want it. I compared it to other steak restarants and , Balbos still the BEST!

    Food was good, but not great. We were a group of 6 adults and 4 kids, 5 yrs and under. Our bill amounted to 3,700 and we had a lot of leftovers.We ordered the following:1) All Meat Pizza (Family size) - thin crust pizza with ham and pepperoni. It was a big serving which I thought was sulit. The kids liked this.2) Truffle Mushroom Pasta (Family size) - All of us liked this, creamy and flavorful. Downside was I thought it lacked the truffle taste. Good thing it had a lot of mushrooms.3) Vongole Pasta (Family size) - good as well, although there were just a few clams! I expected much more given the serving size. But not malangsa at all so I liked it. 4) Spinach Artichoke Dip with Crostini - this one we all liked! The dip was perfect and could be eaten on its own!5) Fried Chicken with Waffles - I did not like this dish. The chicken was soggy and made up mostly of batter and chicken skin. The waffles were dense and hard. Not fluffy at all. Don't recommend this. Balboa is good for big groups of diners. As I said, the food was ok but not really something I would go back for. I can find better for the same price point (Chilli's, Friday's, Italianni's, etc).

    I chose this restaurant on a rainy Wednesday evening mainly because it was empty (I was dining alone). There was a funny smell upon entering but I got easily distracted by the walls adorned with European paintings. The place is spacious and tastefully decorated. I love all the little details except for the clearbook menu and the female server uniform (too short and a little distracting :P).On to the food! I had a hard time choosing from the extensive menu but after much deliberation, I settled for Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. Beautiful presentation, food was lukewarm but it was still surprisingly good. The portion was just right, the sauce was nice, they were generous with the salmon, and the bread absorbed the runny eggs and creamy sauce quite nicely.Service could not be nicer, the staff assigned to my table was friendly but not overly so. All the other staff I came in contact with were also very nice and polite.I highly recommend this restaurant. :)

    I had my lunch here reluctantly since I didn't know where else I can have my lunch, and I wanted a good meal at that time. I love the ambiance, the music and the interior. Classic and exquisite! There were a lot of food to choose from from the menu but I decided to settle for the Truffle Linguine with their house iced tea. Read some of the reviews here before hand and I must say that the one who said that the pasta is just full of cream without the taste of truffle is so wrong. The pasta was exactly as I expected it to be. The taste of the cream mixed with the taste of the mushroom balanced it all out. Drinking Iced tea with it actually ruins the taste so I suggest you order a glass of their water with lemon instead. A must-visit restaurant in Greenbelt 3! :)

    If you love your Italian food in a quiet and relaxed setting, this place is for you. I enjoyed their huge serving of Lasagna (with ground US Black Angus and pecorino) and its authentic Italian flavor, and their wonderful version of Tiramisu.

    Balboa has a hi-class feel, reminiscent of those italian restaurants you see in The Godfather. It's very cozy, with wood panels and old pictures on the wall. So we had the Modigliani for our main course which is tenderloin steak with lemon pepper prawns with our choice of side: truffle oil mac and cheese. Taste wise, the food was really good, steak was tender and flavorful, but I find the serving a bit too small for sharing. Then we had the pizza: Balboa signature flavor with cherry tomatoes. They say that all their pizzas were cooked in a wood oven, which makes the crust perfectly cooked, a bit smoky and chewy. One of the best pizzas I had in a long while. Then we drank sangria. Now sangria is a mix of red wine and sliced fruits, so its like drinking and having dessert at the same time. Balboa has a non- alcoholic version of this drink. The dishes were a bit too pricey, so not a place to go to if you just want to pig out on pizza.They brand themselves as casual dining, but i think not. They have a more formal setting than casual. There were families eating at this place but i think this restaurant is better as a dating place if a guy wants to impress a girl or even propose even. since it has that "old world" charm.

    Ambiance was good ? and the food is delicious ❤️❤️ its perfect for date with your special someone or with your family. I love their pizza and the pasta !!!

    Beautiful place with unfamiliar 30s-50s music made a place for dating. The food is a bit pricey for my taste but it is good. Having no inhouse wifi is a turnoff.

    Ambiace: 4.0 Nice interiors. Elegant yet cozy ambiance with old paintings on the walls. Loved the furniture pieces. Loved the idea of the hanging lights! Loved the over-all look!Food: 3.5 - We ordered buttermilk calamari for appetizer but it wasn't appetizing at all. The squid itself is not fresh and hard to chew. So disappointed with this one. :( - Their spinach artichoke dip is good too but not the best spinach artichoke dip I've had. Seasoning should be improved. - Their all meat pizza was delish!!! The four cheese too. Must try!!! - Loved their dry-rub steak! Soft, chewy and has the perfect amount of heat (well, at least for me.) The gravy was so yummy! (I can eat it without the steak) - The truffle mushroom pasta was just okay. Needed more truffle for it to be called a truffle pasta. The pasta is perfectly cooked though. Haven't tried their four cheese risotto but I heard it's good! Service: 4.0 approachable staff. The food was served on time. :) :) Over-all: 3.5 Nice ambiance, yummy pizza and cool staff. Giving this a 3.5 because not everything on the menu was yummy. And I must say it's a little bit pricey for not getting the same consistency that I've experienced from many other restaurants with the same price range.
