For those craving for a healthy Mexican dish, you have to try Baja's Mexican salad! Onions alert, though!

I was now a fan of Mexican foods when I got to try at this restaurant! However, I think their lights are too dim but their food is unbelievably tasty though a bit pricey. Love their nachos!

I appreciate most of their food except the spicy one, the taste is great and the serving is big. Their interior and the ambiance is really amazing, very cozy and relaxing. hey also have a wide variety of mix Margaritas and Mojitos. They also offer, Quesadillas, Soup and Rice Meals. Their Super Grande Burrito which has a total of one kilo in weight and 12 inches long. But wait, there more... because they also have the Grande Tortilla Ceasar Salad which is good for 2-3 person and I heard that they have one customer who can eat this huge food alone. What about you, can you handle it?

We enjoyed our Mexican food experience in this restaurant. Mexican food lovers should try their Grande Tortilla Ceasar Salad, Super Grande Burrito and Baja Grilled Pork Chop. Food serving is generous and the taste is superb!

I'm not really a fan of anything spicy, but if you are, then you'll love their chili sauce. I had chicken breast burrito and my only regret is that I ordered the regular size. Mind you, they're not messing when they say "Large" cause it really is effing huge! They have generous servings, even their nachos. I have to say though that there's not much "carne" in their Carne Asada Nachos, but at the end of the meal, my friends and I are too full to complain.

You can customize the meat for desired mexican food craving which I find very desirable. Try their Chimichanga, tacos and virgin mojito for a sure fire mexican food experience

Although it has the interior and feel of a Mexican restaurant, unfortunately, I felt like the food just didn't live up to the Mexican-themed interior. The cracked designs, patterned seats, and sandy-colored walls gives the entire place an 'alamo' feel. The slightly faded decorations add to the 'dusty' feel of the room. And if that's not enough, a rack of sombreros remind any customer that they are in a restaurant serving Mexican cuisine. Baja has plenty of options for drinks with friends and co-workers. Not only are there plenty of options, but they also offer 'All-You-Can-Drink' options. I decided to try an order of plain Cheese Quesadilla and split the Super Grande Burrito. With regards to the cheese quesadilla, it was exactly just that: cheese melted in wraps. I guess I was hoping for something more, I mean, it can't JUST be cheese in wraps, but that's what it was. The quesadilla came with a roasted tomato sauce and nacho chips and while the roasted tomato sauce improved the taste of the otherwise plain cheese quesadilla, the nacho chips tasted flour-y (rather than corn chips) and cheap. I have to admit that the Super Grande Burrito was definitely bigger than I had anticipated. Having gotten used to being underwhelmed by the sizes of 'large' portions or 'grande' sizes in the Philippines, I was definitely happily surprised that the super grande burrito actually LOOKED grande. Although the burrito is mostly filled with rice and the texture and taste seems pretty homogenous (I personally like being able to taste the difference from the meat to the salsa, cheese, guac, beans, etc.) but the super grande burrito just seemed mostly full of rice which overwhelmed everything else. Granted, it was filling, but not exactly the type of food that satisfies my cravings for Mexican cuisine. The burrito also came with the roasted tomatoes sauce and nachos and while the sauce made the burrito taste better, it was just not that good on its own or with the nachos. In my opinion, Baja Mexican Cantina is just okay. The restaurant interior stays pretty true to the Mexican theme. I'm willing to give it another go and maybe try a margharita or some other dish, but so far, I have been underwhelmed by its Mexican offerings and found it unsatisfying my cravings for Mexican cuisine.December 5, 2014 Update:I have raised my rating for Baja Mexican Cantina. After a second time there, I ended up ordering the Combo Fajitas the second time around and although they informed me that they had run out of guacamole (what most people would want from a good Mexican restaurant), I found the food to be much better than the burrito and quesadillas I had tried the first time around. I have also been told that the Baja's Grilled Pork Chop is also pretty good. Given that the food is not ALL bad, I am inclined to give Baja a higher rating and add that I believe in second chances. So give Baja Mexican Cantina a try. There are some dishes that aren't so great (or maybe for you it is) and some that are much better.

A nice place to drink with friends and eat Mexican food. They have promos on their drink so it's cheap. Everything we ordered was satisfying. The nachos, chicken, quesadillas and the rest were very delicious. Definitely go try it out.

As a California native, I'd say for the most part this restaurant hits the mark in terms of getting the Tex-Mex taste right. When I came in for lunch around 1PM on a Sunday, there was only one waitress on hand. So getting my order was kind of slow.I liked their fish tacos, as well as their Carne Asada Fries. They ran out of guacamole for the Rolled Tacos, which was incredibly disappointing. If Taco Bell were in Makati, I'd forgo this place and head there, but since it's not, this is one of the few Mexican options in Legaspi Village/San Lorenzo.

I really like the food in Baja. Its customized for the pinoy palate. I enjoyed the food and they have Margarita nights which my family enjoys.
