I'm happy and thankful to be invited to the F&B Innovation Seminar courtesy of website and PLDT SME Nation. Aside from the insightful talk that we got to attend, we were provided with food and drinks by BBZ Degrees (Beer Below Zero). So I got curious with Spinach Pillows based on the picture I've seen on the menu. Sometimes I do think that menu photos are meant to deceive you. Anyway, the spinach pillow indeed looked like a pillow but to be honest, I wouldn't have gotten it if I knew that it was a croissant that's smothered with so much oil. I must say that the tiny bit of spinach inside it was good though. Some of the other dishes that we got to try were the chicken frites and their all meat pizza. The serving was actually too much that half of the food was left untouched. Or I guess we didn't like the food that much that's why there was a lot of leftover.Their chicken frites were dipped into beer batter. The wrap was really thick that one would take at least three bites off of it to get to the chicken filling. One wouldn't be satisfied with the chicken frites without the two sauces that go together with it.Their all meat pizza, on the other hand, seems well prepared to me. The amount of meat toppings was good enough and I like how they were highlighted in its thin crust. We were also served below zero beer. They actually have a long list of imported beers too. Their iced tea, on the other hand, is too sweet for my liking.

Nothing special. My friend swears by the pork belly confit, but it didn't really blow my mind. We had to have it reheated twice since the airconditioning was at full blast and it got chewy immediately upon serving. Garlic rice was greasy, I had to stop eating it after two spoonfuls. Ordered chicken from the Brazilian restaurant upstairs but it tasted like Filipino chicken. Pizza was bland, had to put tabasco. My Latino friend ordered the quesadillas and he didn't finish it. Come here for the below zero beers. They are cold, freezing even. But since the airconditoner was on maximum it would probably be better enjoyed al fresco. It's just...underwhelming. And prices are on the high side, especially for what you get. Bland.

Not going to rush back but will probably return. Veal cheek ale stew was excellent but let down by the Twice cooked beef short plate. This was far too dry. Great mashed potato and the one with truffles was lovely also. Risotto Ali Funghi was pretty spot on as well. Have to agree that the aircon is a bit over the top so choose your table carefully or freeze. Beer was exactly as promised - very. Rey cold.
