Decided to check out this restaurant for dinner since it is located near one of the parking in Ayala Center. We had their Dinuguan and Sisig since we're all hungry. The dinuguan was not all covered with blood stew but it is still good. Not too salty or too sour, just right. The sisig is not the crispy variety but it is still good. The service however, was a bit of a turndown. We were served with plates without utensils and it took me about three times to call for the attention of their staff. The place was nice with bamboo tables and chairs but it was too low for me since I have long legs.My personal rating for the restaurant:Food: 3.5Service: 2.0Place: 3.0Happy Eating, website Day Out

Thanks to website for introducing us to Apag Marangle in Makati, a branch of their famous Kapampangan food destination at Bacolor. We ordered 3 absolutely great dishes from there today. Kalderetang Bibe - Duck Kaldereta - absolutely delicious. Best way too eat duck, in my opinion. Marangle's Pelutungan Manok - their signature crispy fried chicken. Very crisp on the outside but the is still not dry - very tasty. Made even more tasty with their superb gravy/sauce Pinakbet - also great tasting with ample bagoong mixed into the dish.

I wouldn't say I'm an expert when it comes to telling how Kampangan dishes should taste or should be cooked. But I can say that the resto owners definitely know how to satisfy the customers by serving great Pinoy dishes. Proudly Philippine made! Totally satisfied with the unique taste of that sinful Lechon Belly, Sisig, and Tokwa't Baboy. The grilled squid was scrumptious too. All were served hot and delicious. Nuff said.Kudos to Apag Marangle for having the mission of promoting our rich culture thru these delectable Pinoy dishes. Mabuhay kayo!Note: Dined at the original Apag Marangle branch in Pampanga. But since this particular branch is yet out of website's radar, I posted the dishes here at its Makati branch instead. They have the same set of dishes in the menu.

Thought it was just another fancy filipino restaurant but no, it's not! One of my basis for a good pinoy resto is how they cook adobong pusit. We also ordered garlic rice and lechon kawali -- this was just good but wouldn't order this again. Staff were friendly and the ambience is nice too. I had underestimated this resto, good thing we gave this a go. :)

A restaurant in Makati that caters Kapampangan dishes. We tried theri kare-kare, pinakbet, bulig, and sisig. All tasted good but the one I enjoyed the most is their kare-kare.

I loved their pork sinigang and sisig. Won't forget their sago't gulaman, too. Everything's okay except for the time it takes to prepare the dishes. I kind of understand though. I can wait for quality meals like this nd original plating ideas with mini kalderos and kawalis. Lol. Can't wait to bring my family next time and try other viands. 👌🏼

Apag Marangle recently spread their wings and braved the stiff competition here in the big Metro. They opened their third branch and practically first branch in Metro Manila. We were invited to dine and have a taste of what Kapampangan dishes are proud of.It was a big spread as Apag Marangle wanted us to fully be immersed withthe deliciousness of the Kapampangan cuisine. They made our lunch more interesting by serving it just like how they do it in the farm, boodle-style.What I liked from the spread are Tokwa't Baboy, Asado, Humba, the uber crunchy Crispy Pata, Nasing Marangle, and surprisingle the stuffed frogs, Betute. I was too afraid to try the Camaru even if it is a Kapampangan staple dish. As for desserts, I am raving their salted egg ice cream for its uniqueness and at the same time flavor. You sure want to try that this summer. It was a wide spread enough to literally put you in food coma. Delicious spread shared with fellow foodies, while eating with out own hands sure if pure bliss. It really is true that Kapampangans are the best cooks in the world.More photos of the dishes we tried on my blog...

Home of genuine Filipino food from Pampanga. They have some familiar dishes like Kare-Kare, as well as some exotic ones like deep fried crickets and stuffed frog. Even the waiters are from Pampanga.

I really like this restaurant it offered great insight as to why Pampanga is a food Mecca that everyone should visit. Was just disappointed that we came there for Lunch and most their "specials" are already out of stock. I was there by 11:30 am and it was not really full . Was a bit disappointed and the service was also a bit slow. Hopefully they can still improve on this things.

With Kapampangan roots I was excited to hear of this restaurant, it was quite affordable and I was excited to try their Asado, to my dismay it was made of pork tongue (not q meat cut I'm fond of) and chicken which wasn't specified in the menu which just pointed out chicken and pork, but despite this we enjoyed the binagoongang which was a tad too salty so don't eat too much of the sauce and some chicharon bulaklak. I totally recommend the pinakbet rice!
