Decided to check out this restaurant for dinner since it is located near one of the parking in Ayala Center. We had their Dinuguan and Sisig since we're all hungry. The dinuguan was not all covered with blood stew but it is still good. Not too salty or too sour, just right. The sisig is not the crispy variety but it is still good. The service however, was a bit of a turndown. We were served with plates without utensils and it took me about three times to call for the attention of their staff. The place was nice with bamboo tables and chairs but it was too low for me since I have long legs.My personal rating for the restaurant:Food: 3.5Service: 2.0Place: 3.0Happy Eating, website Day Out

Thanks to website for introducing us to Apag Marangle in Makati, a branch of their famous Kapampangan food destination at Bacolor. We ordered 3 absolutely great dishes from there today. Kalderetang Bibe - Duck Kaldereta - absolutely delicious. Best way too eat duck, in my opinion. Marangle's Pelutungan Manok - their signature crispy fried chicken. Very crisp on the outside but the is still not dry - very tasty. Made even more tasty with their superb gravy/sauce Pinakbet - also great tasting with ample bagoong mixed into the dish.

I wouldn't say I'm an expert when it comes to telling how Kampangan dishes should taste or should be cooked. But I can say that the resto owners definitely know how to satisfy the customers by serving great Pinoy dishes. Proudly Philippine made! Totally satisfied with the unique taste of that sinful Lechon Belly, Sisig, and Tokwa't Baboy. The grilled squid was scrumptious too. All were served hot and delicious. Nuff said.Kudos to Apag Marangle for having the mission of promoting our rich culture thru these delectable Pinoy dishes. Mabuhay kayo!Note: Dined at the original Apag Marangle branch in Pampanga. But since this particular branch is yet out of website's radar, I posted the dishes here at its Makati branch instead. They have the same set of dishes in the menu.

Thought it was just another fancy filipino restaurant but no, it's not! One of my basis for a good pinoy resto is how they cook adobong pusit. We also ordered garlic rice and lechon kawali -- this was just good but wouldn't order this again. Staff were friendly and the ambience is nice too. I had underestimated this resto, good thing we gave this a go. :)

A restaurant in Makati that caters Kapampangan dishes. We tried theri kare-kare, pinakbet, bulig, and sisig. All tasted good but the one I enjoyed the most is their kare-kare.
