A 24 hour middle eastern resto on Makati Ave! I must have passed by the place countless times but i found it only when looking for 24 hrs restos on website. It's quite large located on the 2nd floor above 711 opp Next Door /Tiananmen on Makati Ave. Tried their chicken kebab with pita bread. The kebab is similar looking to long sheesh kebab. The medium serving we ordered is quite large - 6 6" rolls with 2 large pita breads. I found the kebab somewhat bland and had to add the garlic n chili sauce to get some flavor into it. I prefer the chicken Tikka style spicy kebab anyday over this.We also had the basmati rice - which is just plain basmati rice without any meat. Taste was ok to me, although my Filipino friend loved the taste. They don't serve alcohol, but the waiter offered to get us San Migs from the 711 below. Will visit once again to taste the hummus and other dips which fellow website-mates have raved about in their posts.

Nice ambiance. Great food. Good service. One of the best middle eastern food I've tasted so far. Highly recommended. The price is just right. We tried out the al batra mixed grill. It comes with the pita bread but I also ordered the biryani rice. The food is good for 2 to 3 persons. The beef is very soft and it taste really good.My friend also tried the sandwiches which was also good and just the right price. For starters try the cheese pie. The mozzarella cheese is a perfect partner for the soft bread. The garlic and spicy dips are also great.

Being a 24/7 restaurant, we had a late night merienda here. We had some kebabs and their moutabal. Their moutabal was one the best I've tried. It still had some texture for you to tell that it's eggplant, unlike other places where it is served too much on the creamy side. Their kebabs were great as well. Only thing I didn't like was the bread they served, which was too thick for my liking.Being a 24/7 restaurant, expect to pay a bit more for their food.

Good for tambay haha enjoyed eating the Al Batra bread!! The best in West asian cuisine. The best West asian restaurant and wala na akong masabi puro masasarap ang pagkain.

I loved the fact that they are a proper halal food resto. There isn't an abundance of halal restos in the Makati Ave./P. Burgos area. A significant bonus was the great grub. Loved their chicken biryani and kabsa. Their cucumber salad was good, too. Loved that they had an extensive menu of middle-eastern dishes. The items were a bit pricey, and the portions were nothing to write home about (although I found that if I asked nicely, they could super size the rice portions of my biryani -- probably a case-to-case thing). Pricey offerings all in all, but the resto does seem to be targeting the expat halal crowd who would be willing to part with their good money for some halal goodness. Decent service from the multitude of waiting staff. Only thing I disliked about the resto is the dining area. Given the warm weather on the summer evenings we went to Al Batra, my partner and I were sweltering upon entering the resto, even with the AC on. We opted for the table right smack in front of the AC to get a bit of air. Unfortunately, we had to sit in the smoking section for this, which is quite unfortunate as we are both highly averse to breathing in second-hand smoke. Nevertheless, the food made up for it.

I'm not really a fan of mediterranean or indian food, but I can always eat my favorite shawarma.During one of our lunch breaks (call center type, graveyard shift), my manager and co-TLs decided to dine here. I don't know how authentic mediterranean restaurants look like, but all I can say is, it looked like a real one, since I don't usually see big wooden chairs. The smell of curry will definitely set the mood, though.Anyway, we ordered their version of pita bread and their meat kebab. We ate it just as we usually eat shawarma. It was a good experience, but we didn't really go back there anymore.

Mediterranean food is healthy, yes...but expensive? Not always, if you know where to go. Al Batra is a recent try which now is a habit. The Appetizer Sampler is a steal. I've tried a few other dishes and all are good. Up to next week they have a buffet which is a much better deal than most buffet places.

The food is good but poor in customer service. We go there lunch time we order pasta, beef something and soup. The beef and soup came but the pasta took so long. Me and my friend are hungry so we need to remind the waitress about it and after they serve the pasta I heard the waitress is saying something like e-serve muna bka ma beast mode p yan. Then the waiters waitress most of them have a face like this☹☹☹😐😐😐. My boss say this person is not happy about her job and even my boss have an experience that he shouted the waiter because he waited for his change for so long. When we are about to leave after eating we didnot leave any tip for them and the waitress raise her eyebrow. My suggestion is to hired people that are customer oriented and responsible.

I went with my daughter to this restaurant after reading the reviews. The hommus is very good so is the zaatar pie. I was pretty disappointed with the kebab that was dry and too hard. But what put me off if the lack of cleanliness at this restaurant. From the entrance to the stairs and their sticky tables. Had my daughter not insisted on eating her zaatar manoucheh i would not have entered. Some food is good but fishy hygiene. Would not go again

This place could be so much better and it would not take too much to improve. When ordering take out their service is very slow, slow to take your order and slow to realise that the kitchen staff have finished cooking your order. 3 times I've sat there looking at my food on the kitchen counter waiting for a member of staff to go and collect it. Price wise its a little bit expensive however, the food is great. Greek salad and chicken sandwich is my favourite.
