On lean days and non-paydays and you're craving for a cheap below-zero beer in Makati, there's 121. Situated near the Goëthe Library and Al Fresco style drinking drowns the stress away easily! Try their nachos and fries and their liempo with rice. Not a super excellent website place but will do, on lean days.

This is a chill out place for barkadas or for after-office drinks hangout but since we are working at night, we are just eating here during our breaks. Their food was good and they have big servings. We have already tried their sisig, sizzling tofu, chicken kebab, monggo and liempo.

One of our favorite places to chill. They have good food and friendly staffs, especially Jonas. Our favorites are sizzling tofu kinchay, sizzling tuna, monggo and lechon kawali. If you have any request with the food, the staffs will kindly accomodate you.The place is small and intimate.Ate here with the 1+1 food and it's worth it. Chow!Update:We tried their calamares and it's really good, tender inside and crispy outside. Perfect pair for your beer!

There's nothing out of the ordinary with this unassuming watering hole beside the cutesy Picasso boutique hotel. Except that its al fresco ambiance is charming and laid-back, which brings back simple days when drinking need not be complicated. Beer and drinks are reasonably priced, and their food menu is surprisingly vegetarian-friendly. Good place for quick drinks with friends. Just make sure to use anti-mosquito lotion.

Nachos. Lumpiang Shanghai. Grilled Porkchop. Grilled Chicken. Chicharon Bulaklak. Adobo. Beer. These are must-tries when in Cafe 121. But, I wouldn't really recommend their Pusit Ala Pobre. The dish is really pobre. :)

Another great place to hangout with friends after work. Its an open air area, I think best for "inuman sessions". I really liked their Sisig, Chicharon Bulaklak and Nachos - big servings, delicious, many toppings for the nachos yet really affordable!

Not cheap beer, but they have Smirnoff Mule so they have my vote! Order bistek, burger, and pork sisig if it's your first time. Calamares is not worth the price but tastes okay.

Their homemade siomai and the sauce for their grilled pork liempo are the best! They should actually start selling the sauce. But they need to find a way to be able to accommodate more customers. Their table near the stairs isn't safe. One of my officemates fell off the stairs because her chair was near the edge.

Ironically, the 1st branch I've tried was their most recent one located at BGC. This, I reckon, was one of the very first, if not their first branch. In contrast, I kinda like this branch better as I don't feel all cramped up when you go al fresco and have drinks. The BGC branch also has several tables outside but since it is housed in a mall, it still feels a little confining. We kicked off with a few bottles of cold brew but it won't be complete without going for the bad boys - crispy pata & chicharon bulaklak, hence, it didn't take long before we ordered them 😊 The crispy pata was tender, juicy yet had crispy skin and the chicharon was equally good though I would have loved it if they had bigger servings 😜
