Kwek kwek is among the best Filipino streetfoods. Those small orange eggs are ideal for a fast snack, plus a really cold gulaman. My Tita can make the very best kwek kwek (or Tokneneng in order to be precise) ever, and Dr. Kwek Kwek reaches a close 2nd. Their stall is situated in the food courtroom of SM Supermarket. Ideal location, if you request me, because I could easily move there for an instant bite before or when i shop for groceries. For 30 pesos, you could have five bits of those small quail eggs dipped in orange flour and one glass of Chinese Gulaman. If you're not just a picky eater, or even in a hurry, which will certainly do. I actually recently discovered that in addition they sell other poultry items like boiled salted egg, balut and penoy. Actually useful if you're hankering for just one and don't have the endurance to wait for the village balut vendor during the night.
