I'm not so sure about what to think of Yoshinoya. It's honestly the saddest gyudon I've ever had. The beef is dry, soupy, and has no flavor at all. With that experience, me and the boyfriend are avoiding all Yoshinoya. We felt robbed :(

Yoshinoya is one of the oldest japanese fast food franchises here in the Philippines. For this visit, we had the tempura and beef jumbo plate. This plate is actually good enough for 2. Their beef is tender and the sauce is good. The tempura was crispy and tasty. This is one of the affordable japanese restaurants here in SM Southmall.

Finally, Yoshinoya near us. It took a while but yey. The place is great with all the origami in the walls. In our visit, we tried the Beef Yakiniku, I say it's okay. The sides, Kani Shumai which tastes like ordinary siomai, and Gyoza which is also okay. The Chicken Tempura meal is affordable but worth the try. Although, I still like the Bento meals more.

This is my always "go to" whenever I want to eat an authentic beef misono. It ways had my heart since I was a kid. And forever will be. This is perfect with green apple tea and tiramisu. 😸

I ordered beef gyudon and tempura. The gyudon here is better than the one i had in glorietta which was way too salty. It was served cold though so that was kind of a deal breaker for me. I also had tempura. In my opinion it had too much breading.Service was slow as well despite there being only few people in the place.
