No matter which Yabu you go to, you will come away feeling full and satisfied. The unlimited cabbage with goma sauce all over is amazing. The katsu dishes are succulently juicy, with amazingly crispy coating.

Place definitely needs a clean up. Mozarella was good and tastes better with their sauce. Curry tonkatsu is as expected though lacks the taste of authenticity.

I ate here last December with my friend. It was her first time to eat at Yabu and she loved it, especially the soup. It has a really nice ambiance, good service and friendly staff, and great food! I most especially like their cabbage and the sesame dressing (?) Will for sure eat here again this year.

I personally loved ya I when I was younger but.....I am not naive anymore.I ate there again and wasn't impressed.The service could be better and the ambiance could be improved and the food I want something new and fresh.I overall rate this a 3 out of 5 stars,AND THATS STILL A BIG DEAL#LittleGordonRamsay

hi guys we ate at yabu southmall before holyweek lack of staff.your staff is busy when i called to order no one come but when the tall guy come out from the kitchen he immediate come to us to assist us sir.daryll is very attentive he recommend the mozzarella and yes its is good choice and he serve us all day till we finish the food. over all the experience is great i hope more staff .

Yabu's katsu is one of my wife's comfort foods. I love their salmon katsu set for it's tender and perfectly cooked interior and golden crispy exterior! I love the ambiance of the place, on how the food is prepared, elegant table setting. I get to experience Japan. Meal taste good. Great customer service. Try their best seller. 😋 It is indeed the best for me.

Yabu is one of the places I love to visit whenever i feel like eating, when i’m happy, sad or when i just need to think. What I eat depends on my mood, there’s only two dishes: it’s either Hire katsu set or Rosu. Love the thought that even though its a classy resto they still offer unli rice and cabbage. For the ambience and staff its always 2 thumbs up!

Edit: Service is now excellent, because the first and last time I ate here in Southmall was bad service so I tried in other branch and they are all good. I am so happy that they improved their service upon my observation. Our server, Ms. Ruth did her job well done. No need to call her attention, she’s always attentive and refills our food/drink in time. She’s very observant too. Good job, Team Southmall!

I tasted something wrong with my chicken katsu, it was undercooked at least that’s what it tasted to me i have been eating there for years in other branches and i did not have the same experience; maybe it was just an isolated case. However the manager of the store immediately replaced my chicken katsu after I reported it to them. They are big on customer service and that’s what I like about them.
