Great food. Great selection. Homey ambience. This is where we eat if we like food na tipong cooked sa bahay type.na masarap! Nakaka gana kumain. The staff are very accommodating and serves with a smile.thanks guys!

I went to SM Southmall and found this amazing restaurant. Pancake House is one of the best food establishment that I always want to visit. The food was really great and their service as well. My experienced here was not bad at all. It's all good. The Hot Roast Beef that I ordered was tender and juicy. I love it!

I feel fiercely loyal to Pancake House as I’ve been eating here (particularly their ATC branch) with my family since I was a kid. Their ATC branch is perfect. I grew up with the staff there and I have nothing but kind words to say about their service. Their SM SOUTHMALL branch, however, is a shithole. I dont know whats going on with them but they pale in comparison to their ATC branch. There is never a time that I’ve eaten there that they didn’t mess up my order/ignored me/apologized or even acknowledged their mistake. And they are usually not that crowded in the first place. They have more than enough waiter-to-table ratio. Since I’m loyal to the Pancake House brand, i keep giving them a chance (just like any abusive relationship), thinking that maybe they have managed to catch up with the other branches, but noooo. This time around, I got fed up. Orders were incomplete, I didn’t hear an apology or even an acknowledgement about what happened. When we asked for the bill, they forgot and instead prioritized other diners. What infuriated me the most is when i complained to their manager, she just stood there with a glazed look on her face and just nodded along without even apologizing. What does this place have against apologizing? I would have been easily placated had they immediately apologized. Her resolutions are even more insane. Telling me that she’ll find out what happened to our incomplete order when we have clearly finished our meal already hence why we asked for the bill. She then said that she’ll expedite our bill, when our bill and the payment was already on the table. In all my reviews I’ve never said this about any restaurant staff because I choose to be compassionate and empathetic towards them, but they are INCOMPETENT BUFFOONS. There is just no other word for them. The nerve of them to have a mandatory service charge for all orders ( yes even for take out) when they have terrible customer service to begin with. I am basically paying to be disrespected. I am never eating there again!
