Service and food are both great. We love their bentos and okonomiyaki. Their ramens and udons are mediocre. They often have promos, like 20% off on all bento boxes. I honestly liked eating here but there are just better options for japanese cuisine that have sprouted nearby.

I can say that this is the worst japanese resto! The service is not good it tooks so hard to order the crew's are bastos! Saying wait lang! In every order we make they are laughing and repeating what we are saying (at the kitchen) without even knowing that we can hear them. I will never ever come back to this kind of resto!

Okay, first of all I think this place has 2 branches. The one I tried is the one along Tropical Avenue. I have Metrodeal vouchers for this priced at P399 per person (instead of P850) for unli grill and shabu-shabu. I'm a fan of Korean barbeque places and I've been really trying out places like this, so I bought 2 vouchers of this place. I think this place isn't well known because we were their only customers when we arrived. Then another group came in after us, who also had metrodeal vouchers. The ambiance of the place is superb. Well, it's nothing too fancy but it's quite nice. There are places where you can sit on the floor like a typical Japanese restaurant. There are paintings of cherry blossoms on the wall. Service is not that good. When we were seated, they started setting up our table. Then they started bringing in all the food and told us that we can already turn on the stove. Uhhh HOW??? (Since their stove is different from other places I've tried). Then that's it. We weren't even informed on what the sauces on the table are for, will we be the ones to put oil on the pans (since we didn't know if one "sauce" on the table is the oil), nothing. And one more thing, one of the servers was not in the mood to work. The grill - all the meat to grill were delicious. There were 2 kinds of beef, one with the sweet marinade and the plain one, then the pork and chicken were also marinated in the sweet sauce. These are automatically served to you at the beginning. Everything is unlimited, including the rice and iced tea. The shabu-shabu - a big NO! The soup was very very very very bland. We even asked the server if that was the soup or if they were going to bring in more (like the usual shabu-shabu places where they have different soups), but no. That's it. We told her that the soup is bland and her response to me was to just add the dipping sauce of the shabu-shabu to the soup itself 😑 the other table also complained about this, and we even heard them laughing about how the customers in the restaurant should be the one to season the soup 😓 To sum up, these are my viewpoints:▪️ For the price of P399, this place is worth the try. I'll just leave it up to you guys if you want to try the shabu-shabu, but for me, it's really a waste of time. ▪️If you're looking for a place to have yakiniku, I think this will do, but only if the price is less than P500. So if you can get just the unli Yakiniku (not including the shabu-shabu) for that price, I think it's good enough. ▪️Considering to try this place for P850 is not a good idea.

Next to Suzukin, this is my favorite! My brother took us here for an authentic Japanese buffet experience. Although it looks old and poorly furnished, the restaurant feels like home to me, inviting my good chi to eat a hearty meal. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even offering freshly cooked dishes that were already on the buffet table (specifically the Beef Sukiyaki, Ebi Tempura and Beef Teriyaki/Gyudon) For P450 pesos, you get to eat A LOT. I really really really loved the salmon soup. They also offer tempuras, cooked meat, noodles, sushi and salad. The dessert table is kid-friendly as there were chocolates and muffins aside from fruits. The owner is very kind too, as she shares her storis about her restaurant, its succes, and other dining experiences. She also told us that you can avail vouchers at Metrodeal for unli shabu shabu and yakiniku -- different from what we ordered. Overall the experience is great! Please do visit! ✌🏻️😊
