When driving along Gloria Diaz in BF Resort drive, one may notice that this road is dotted with Japanese Restaurants. Here's my advice though, head on straight towards the (near) end of the road where BF Resort meets Philam Village and on your right you will find Makimoto- in this case they saved the best for last😊 This hidden gem inside BF Resort serves an amazing Mount Fuji Roll- packed with salmon and tuna and deep fried in tempura batter. This mountain of rolls is big enough for two. Asian Wings- crispy, crunchy, sweet and savory goodness that kids and kids-at-heart love. The Chicken Teriyaki is a hit too- crispy on the outside, tender on the inside chicken fillet topped with Teriyaki sauce and sesame seeds. They have an awesome Peanut Butter Ice cream pie that isn't to be missed. I don't particularly care for the Salmon and Kani Sashimi we ordered but hey, for less than P 1,100 for all the dishes (plus 2 miso soups) I mentioned in my review, who am I to complain?😊

Craved for japanese/korean food. Glad Makimoto can deliver it to your doorstep! We ordered assorted sushi 30+ pcs. Delivery was fast. It arrived about 30-40 mins. Like mcdo! LOL!Taste is ok. Just right for the price. :)

Legit Japanese food; legit tempura and sushi! Love this place! Some might say it’s a little bit pricey, but you get what you pay for! Really! And they accept cards too.

Ordered beef bento, chicken bento, and shoyu ramen. The food was alright though I didn't the beef that much. Will come back to try other food.

I’M A FAN OF THIS PLACE. I’ve dined in here countless of times because of their sushi. I have not been to Japan yet, but I must say, that out of the other Japanese restos I’ve been to, this has the most authentic tasting sushi I ever had. Everytime I eat here with friends and family, we always order the sushi platter, enough to feed all of us since it contains 40(?) pieces of assorted maki. I tried their ramen, and it was ok. Hoping they could expand tho, since their place is very compact, but regardless, this is the best place to get your sushi fix if you feel like it.

Sushi restaurant inside BFRV. Place is small and quite expensive (for its place) We got a chance to snack in and got Spicy tuna roll. For 178 PHP you get 8pcs (small pieces) flavor isn't the best for its price and size.

If youre looking for a quick sushi fix without veing very particular with the authentic quality, I recommend you try makimoto sushi bar. They deliver semi authentic japanese food in the densely populated Las Pinas area. Their sushi is not what I would consider authentic but its for me its crowd pleaser. Its enough to satisfy your cravings at a reasonable price.

A hidden gem in the south known mostly by people from nearby areas in Las Pinas. Definitely a must try if you get a chance to drop-by the neighborhood. Cheap but good quality Japanese food. Try the Mt. Fuji roll.

Best California Maki I ever tasted, although its flavor has been adjusted to Filipiko taste. I go back here frequently just for the Maki. LOVE at first bite. 😍😃
