We ordered the Ansari and Miso ramen. We weren't able to finish both. In fact, we left our bowls half-full. The soup was too thick, and the veggie ramen had too much veggie to the point where the overall taste was sacrificed and whatever Japanese flavor it attempts had vanished into the innermost sanctuaries of our taste buds. We might come back, but for now, it's a veggie-filled 1.5 for me.

I ordered Shoyu Ramen. But it's not ramen, it's pork mami. You can compare the noodles to "Miki Noodles". Kulang na lang garlic.. Mas mahal pa sa Ramen Kuroda. 😔

This is my very first review. For a village Japanese restaurant their food is actually good. I have tried all the Japanese restos inside bf resort (and the one in Sta. Cecilia was really good), and for a Japanese ramen restaurant, theirs is ramen and not mami that pretends to be ramen. I would not compare to restaurants like kimpura, hatsune, or restaurants in Japan, but their ramen do not disappoint. They do not serve sushi or maki (and I do not expect them too --- these need to be served fresh). The restaurant is normally packed on weekends, and I am assuming the regular clients enjoy the food with its affordable price. I am not rating a 5, but an unpretentious ramen resto in terms of taste and price this resto deserves a 3.0.
