I hated it here. Never coming back At first it was my favorite place to hangout. Good tea and ambiance. But at my last visit I experienced the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, just this weekend. By far, their female manager was the rudest woman I have ever encountered and talked with. She was more interested with her facebook status at ersao than attending to customers!I'm never going back there again.

Food was great and service was good. My mom, my sister, and I ordered spicy squid, radish cake, wanton noodles (small), seafood noodles (small), hao ma, jasmine tea (hot), lemon green tea (small), and twin cup (wintermelon milktea + almond milk tea). Their radish cake was so good! Their twin cup is really great for people who can't decide which flavor they want to drink. Their comfort room needs a bit of cleaning though.

Ersao-Southmall would be a living example of the saying "don't judge the book by it's cover". Parking in the basement and entering Southmall via the leftmost entrance most of the time, we would always see Ersao. But after all these numerous trips, at least once a week, it's only today that we finally gave it a shot. Judging Ersao's interior from the outside, I find it cozy and attractive: it's well lit with couches and tables almost similar to coffee shops. I would always fall in a heartbeat with this kind of set-up but this time, with Ersao, I didn't. Atleast, not right away. While they're set-up marked a good impression on me, seeing the activity of the staff inside the restaurant caught my attention and in several occasions turned me off: I would see them lounging around, sleeping with their heads on the table, eating their baons, doing work on their laptops to name a few. Not that there's something wrong with what they are doing, I just thought it would be nice if they do it in a designated place (if there is) where potential customers would not see their personal activities. Otherwise, there will always be the first impression that Ersao is unwelcoming where staff are preoccupied with their personal activities. But after today's visit, based on their food alone, we will definitely go back again. Most of what we order are definitely value-for-your-money: the bestseller, soy bathe dumpling, didn't fall short my expectations; fried wanton is a new favorite; rice toppings, Pork steak and Hong Ma, were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Simply put, their food is no doubt worth going back to.As for the staff, unfortunately, my first impression still remain unchanged. They were polite and nice but there's definitely more room for improvement. They could start by being more attentive with the needs of their clientele, by offering service water while waiting for orders to be served; they could also refrain from lounging around the counter all together.Lastly, they could also enhance the dining experience of their clients by creating a music playlist that would match the ambience they are trying to project. I'm afraid, I was little confused where exactly I was a while ago: the local station where they were tuned in didn't go well with the ambience their interior triesto establish.

Super slow service. One hour waiting after we order and we've been told to wait for 7 minutes for a certain meal only to keep waiting and the waiter told us that it is not available. Super bad service. The staff does not know the meal is not available. :/ Such a bad service.

Still my favorite when craving for original Taiwanese food and drinks. Today we had the signature beef noodles and the beef dumplings soup with their spicy chicken on the side. As always generous servings good for 2. They will split the bowl if you just ask for it. Enjoy!
