Cozy ambiance. Good Food. Excellent service. If you are from the south, you do not need to go that far to satisfy your steak cravings. Borgo Cafe has a branch in Las Pinas inside Robinsons Mall. My husby enjoyed his steak ( higlands grass fed beef). You might want to also try their salted caramel coffee to cap off your dining experience :-)We shall definitely come back! ❤️

Got to try several dishes at Borgo Cafe today and it was pretty much a mixed bag.The highlight was easily the Salpicao, the beef was a well done medium well. It was tender and well seasoned, even the green and red bell peppers included with it was executed well. The Kali was beef with mushroom sauce over rice with olives. The beef was buttery and fairly seasoned. It tastes exactly the way it looks. The olives in the rice provide a nice break from the taste of the mushroom sauce and is a welcome surprise. The seafood paella was a disappointment. There was a very distinct fishy taste as it tasted more like fish fried rice than paella with seafood. Would not recommend this. Also got to try the chicken tenders which were bland and forgettable. The same can be said for the Hiroshima fries which were basically underseasoned potato wedges.Borgo Cafe also gets some minus points for the speed of the service. While the staff was friendly they seemed disorganized and had no idea how to handle a large party.Overall your experience with Borgo will depend mainly on what you get to order and take my word for it when I say go for the salpicao and run away from the tenders.

Been here a couple of times basically for one thing, the All-you-can-eat steak promo. Given the location of this restaurant is at the mall, nothing special should be expected for its ambiance. The open facade makes the dining area susceptible to the noise coming from the mall area  (especially from the events at the activity area or in front of the restaurant itself). My visit was during a weekday so not much of the patrons were there. I literally had the place all for my self for the majority of my meal. It was a good 30-45 minutes before other diners went in.For the meal itself, it comes along with unlimited serving of salad and soup from the "salad table". Drinks not included. I am not a connoisseur of steaks so I would review the steak in my honest opinion. They will serve two steak cuts off the bat with mash or rice. The steak was locally sourced so set your expectations a bit lower if you're an avid steak eater. Although, it's sourced locally, the quality was still there and the quantity and how it was prepared will still fill your stomach to the max. At the price of 599 for the meal, you would probably need three servings to make the visit worth it. Add some certain preparation prior to your visit will also help go the distance.Tips: Soda can help. Don't bother with the "salad bar/table". Pace yourself.

Angus steak is superb. I like it better with salad than with mixed veggies.
