A not so croweded, bit pricey Japanese restaurant along Tropical ave. I advice that you should order their set meal instead of ala carte. I liked their pork teriyaki and crazy maki! 😛

    I. LOVE. AYU.My family and I deem this spot as a hidden gem in BF. It's a great place to go to if you're craving for some sushi in the BF Parañaque area.Though I haven't tried a lot of the items of their menu, the ones that my family and I have tried are quiet awesome :) Their california maki is quite good! The quality of the rice is great, and the roll is generously filled with the roll's usual components. Absolutely yummy! The best part about this roll is that a single order comes with hefty eight pieces. This one's definitely one for sharing :)Their tuna and salmon spicy rolls are the best! Again, the quality of the rice is great, and as with the Cali Maki, the roll is generously filled. For me, the thing that makes this role great is the topping. Depending on which fish you get, each of this roll's pieces is topped with a dollop of "salad" made out of either raw tuna or salmon, crunchy tempura bits, and green onions. Double yum! Again, this roll also comes with eight pieces in a single order. Because it's that good, I don't recommend sharing heheheFor a non-roll option, Ayu's gyoza appetizer is also good. They cook it the traditional way--sear the bottom of each gyoza then then steam batch of dumplings until the skins are soft and tender. Best eaten right when they're served and definitely eat them with the special dipping sauce.Their agedashi tofu is excellent as well. They fry their tofu evenly without completely drying out the tofu. Each order comes with four pieces of tofu and is dressed with a special agedashi sauce. This one's a great and light appetizer that will definitely wet your taste buds.Another thing that you must order from their menu is their yakisoba. They cook the noodles perfectly! It also has that smokey flavor that comes from both the yakisoba sauce and the sizzling plate that it's served on. This one's for sharing, too :)

The Gyudon (Beef Bowl) tastes decent. Just like any other beef bowl that you can find in any other restaurant. The miso soup goes well with the beef bowl, and will serve as your side dish. It is there to make sure you are sated.
