I found the Best Traditional Lechon here in Cebu. Your lechon is very Crunchy and Juicy. And it was finger-licking good. The best lechon I ever taste.

Cebu lechon is undoubtedly the best lechon there is. Rico's lechon is really good but the Cebu lechon in Carcar is still #1 for me. At Rico's we had an order each of the Original and Spicy Lechon. The meat is juicy and tasty, and the skin is perfectly crisp. We also tried the Sinigang na Lechon. At first I was skeptical about putting lechon in a soup since the skin won't be crispy anymore but it was actually really good. The sourness of the soup complimented the oily taste of the lechon. We also had Baked Scallops and a lot of rice with our lunch. I finished my meal with a Cumansi Quencher 🍹

We only ordered baked scallops and the original lechon, so I can only speak for those dishes. For a scallops fan, I've definitely had better. I like my baked scallops cheesy buttery and garlicky, and Rico's doesn't have just that. Their baked scallops had strong tastes of herbs instead. The lechon isn't the best one I've had too. Skin is not all crispy and the meat is tasty but quite kulang. I don't know what it is but it's kulang. Quite reasonable prices though. I think it's just a matter of taste preference so if you're expecting something else with your scallops and lechon, here's my two cents.

A tasteful experience gone bad. I've longed for tasting this famous Rico's Cebu lechon. But!!! I was too disappointed for having that first bite. The pig skin is NOT crunchy.. it was like cooked in the morning and pre-heated in the afternoon. Not even actually.. the meat was not even warm. Im never going to recommend this place to anyone i know.

Expectation vs RealityI thought that it is better or at least the same as Lydias letchon however the letchon here is not as good as I expect it to be. Skin not crispy and meat is too cold including the rice. Definitely wont be returning here.

Every time I go to Cebu I made sure I get to eat at Rico’s cause you know how yummy and addicting their lechon is most especially their spicy lechon. So we tried here at their new branch near the airport..Was so excited cause as usual like before, the line for waiting to dine-in is so long, so we’re expecting that nothing has change bout their product. The ambiance there is okay. Simple. But as our food is serve, we (me and my friends) are disappointed. We ordered 1 kilo of lechon but half of it is bones then the taste is not as good as before. Its like we are not in Rico’s. Honestly, we were expecting that it should be tasty cause they gave us the boney parts which the juice of the herbs and stuffings that they put on the lechon whileRoasting should be absorb more at that part but No, the taste is so MEH. I hope the quality of their will come back. Follow me on IG: Superlouiese
