Since we just had a gastronomic excursion from the Mactan Alfresco, we took time relaxing at our pit stop in IBIZA Beach club at the Movenpick Hotel. The bloggers had the time taking selfies and photos of the picturesque ocean view vicinity that's perfect for a sophisticated reception. We were all greeted with Ibiza's version of TAPAS, flirting our taste buds with their delectable appetizers. A perfect rendezvous to a hearty dinner in the metropolis when we crossed to the main island of Cebu upon twilight.Let me share with you this short clip in a nutshell with what happened in Ibiza. We definitely had fun!!!

Still here. Loving the deep house vibe. Loving the happy hour. Feels like I'm in LA by the pool drinking. The jacuzzi is actually a cool water jacuzzi which is perfect when it's hot out. Details here are nice and the shower / cr is clean aircon. So far I'm loving this place.

This is a great place at movenpick chillax especially when it’s sunset. Great pictures for Instagram and they have happy hour everyday even though prices are still steep.

Live entertainments keep the night up. During our visit, we witnessed the Latin Shoe which features Latin Americas perfomances performed by Ibiza's seasoned performers.A large selection of drinks are available for guests. Gelato and food are also served.

Their 15 course meal is the best. A bit pricey though but trust me, it’s really worth it. Pair it with a glass of white or red wine. This place is really special to me because this was where my husband asked me to marry him. When the restaurant manager knew about the proposal, they gave us 2 glasses of complimentary sparkling wines. ❤️❤️❤️

Really good place to chill at night. The food are amazing and so as their house wine. Good place to spend a chill evening with friends or loved ones. The staff are attentive. They do have a wide array of menus to choose from

What an amazing venue! Walking in the ambience is relaxed and cool. Everything in white, the beach in front and the sunset behind you. Chilled out house music playing in the background as you look around everyone is doing their own thing sitting on the lounges, the tables and those really awesome nets with pillows over the water. It felt like Potatohead in Bali.Happy hour was over and we were getting hungry. We decided to order the unlimited churrasco for 2200php. I opted for the wine option 2700php very good value indeed. It comes with a salad bar and a copious amount of seafood (prawns, squid, parrot fish, slipper crabs) and meat (steak, ribeye, chicken, lamb chops). The food was stunning! Jam packed with flavours and cooked amazingly well. Everything was so tender, the spices and marinades they used were so delicious. Probably and this is a big call the best spread of meat and seafood I've had! The stand out favourites were (in order) the rib eye, chicken, parrot fish and lamb chop. Again best ever!!!!Overall a really cool place to have a Sunday session by the water eating good food and having a drink.By now you're probably thinking this guy loved Mövenpick yet he scored it a 2... why?Well....let me just start by saying this rating would have been a lot higher if it wasn't for 2 things.1. They stopped the relaxing house music to play such a cliché tourist trap presentation. Several latin song and dance numbers and the ever so cringe worthy fire dance!!! Can we no think of something new??? As we were getting right into it our groove was interrupted by this cheesy attempt at entertainment. To be honest it cheapened the whole experience! What happened to IBIZA? well it turned into Boracay Station 2... *sigh*2. This one is probably the biggest spoiler of the night. So we've had our meals, we've had the sunset and we're still enjoying our drinks with unlimited wine option. 3 - 4 rounds in the waitress said "sir he can't have another top up he's not having the buffet". I explained to her that I spoke with the guy serving us earlier and asked that 4 of us were having the buffet and only I was having the wine option. Two other friends came to join us and they've both eaten. So I asked is there a wine only option we can order? He said no. I then asked if I can just pay the extra 500php attached to the other buffet he said OK and started serving us the wine. She then called the manager and he said there was no agreement. The manager came back with the original waiter I explained the situation and he said that wasn't allowed. I said well if it wasnt OK then why have your staff served us several rounds of wine. We didn't take pass the wine around to take advantage of the order. He then had a side conversation with the waiter. It wasn't discreet, and we could sense he was getting angry at the waiter. He then came back to us and kept insisting there that it wasn't allowed. His tone was aggressive! I said, I thought we were good to go given the fact our friend that wasn't eating the buffet had already been served his wine 3 - 4 times now. Anyways long story short.... it was a misunderstanding and we resolved it. But what I definitely didn't appreciate was the tone and manner in which RONALD the bar manager handled the situation and how he argued with his staff in plain sight. This is Mövenpick a premier establishment, you would expect managers to act a little more professionally.Come here for the food, the drinks and the ambience. Just leave before the cheese fest entertainment kicks in and don't get the manager angry!

Be entertained! Be relaxed! Jive into the rhythm of the island vibe. The outdoorsy theme is superb while you can choose to catch a Latin show at the open. Waiters are ready to take your order or you can hang-out at the bar right at the center of the beach club.

With the booming of Cebu’s tourism and economy,  there is no doubt that Cebu has been  a top choice for western brand of chain of hotels and resorts. Not to mention, it is not just any other brand , the leaders and the big name of the industry, we are talking here. Off the coast of Mactan island , Cebu lies the grandeur of the 5 star hotels and resorts. The long list of names never ends yet there is one place I personally love to go for a night of entertainment elsewhere but at Ibiza Beach Club of Mövenpick  resort and spa.
