My daughters were craving for pizza while shopping at the Shangri-La Plaza Mall and we chanced upon Trattoria Gourmet about Levels 5 of the Mall. The cafe is little with about 4 tables inside and another 6 outside. The table service was both prompt andcourteous. Our server was always prepared to focus on our needs without having to be intrusive. And now with their meals. My two girls purchased Caesar salad, four cheese pizza and lasagna Bolognese to talk about between them. The Caesar salad dressing provided a hint of lemon and anchovy, flavoring the salad properly without being oily. Girls believed that the pizza and lasagna had been as good as types they tasted in Florence, Italy. Obviously, the two plates got nary a crumb if they were finished! We ordered their Caprese di Mozzarella e Pomodoro, Zuppa di Mare, and the Spinach Ravioli to talk about between all of us. I requested that the Zuppa di Mare end up being served on a mattress of spaghetti plus they were even more than pleased to oblige my demand. The Mozzarella cheese tasted refreshing and the sweetness of the tomatoes had been improved by the basil dressing. The Zuppa has been filled with items of seafood (but no seafood) and the tasty broth was flawlessly absorbed by the mattress of spaghetti. My partner thoroughly liked their spinach ravioli which acquired a perfect stability of spinach filling, pasta, and lotion sauce. It had been light to the abdomen yet filling! While looking forward to our foods, the cafe served us flat breads and crostini with two dips: a pesto dip and, to my surprise, pate!
