The Crazy Juan is really a fusion restaurant offering filipino meals infused with western and eastern influences. Ambience is indeed relaxing, i really like the mix of orange and brown within their interiors. Staff are usually warm and incredibly welcoming also the owners are additional hospitable. We luckilymet the chef, Tom Morillo greeted us and examine if we loved the meals. We ordered their finest seller, Gumbolalo that is tastefully great, southern fried chicken offered with cruchy camote chips, plated grilled tanigue and tawilis in quezo dip. Everything is completely served. Will certainly be back again and recommend this to buddies. Kudos TWJ!

This can be a good restaurant to go to if you are in Tagaytay. The very first thing that I loved about any of it is it offers its own parking area. The crew were really friendly and the see from the balcony can be nice. But what actually impressedme may be the food. There have been 4 folks and we only purchased the shrimp pops, the kashew kare-kare and rice. These were so tasty. Although its pricey and the servings certainly are a little bit trifle, the awesomeness of the meals will simply take your breath aside! Kudos to Chef Tom Morillo! We shall definitely get back to your restaurant, which BTW can be a B&B, and hopefully your menus will be providing more delightful dishes!

I loved everything concerning the Wild Juan. Food high quality exceeded expectations. We adored the "Pinoy osso buco," sisig, kasoy kare kare, and their delectable cashew tarts and calamansi custard. Service was quick without compromising food high quality. The staff are usually courteous and knowledgeable of these menu.Prices may also be reasonable. It is located across the national highway within Alfonso and from the crowded and noisy areas. The soothing ambiance will be pluses for me. The region was similar to the aged Tagaytay feel once the city had not been yet urbanized. I definitely recommend and would highly return.

We drove from our spot to this restaurant browsing for something brand new. If traveling from Tagaytay appropriate to Nasugbu region, this will be on your own remaining and halfway between Alfonso crossing and the corner heading down to Sonia's Garden. The area was cozy andambiance was gentle. Absolutely nothing pretentious. It kinda resembles a Western. They have got a narrow balcony supplying a good watch of the lake and mountain ridges albeit seated is bound to small groups. Food was amazing -- the fairly sweet fusion of Creole and Filipino cuisine. Such as for example their signature Gumbo-lalo (a portmanteau of the Creole dish Gumbo and Filipino all-time preferred Bulalo). Don't expect that closely resemble the latter; that is nevertheless Gumbo with red thick sauce that's more like the local dish kaldereta, utilizing the beef shanks which are usually within bulalo soup. Therefore no soup, actually. But dish was incredible, and their Gumbo-lalo is crucial try. We weren't in a position to attempt their other specialties since we had been just a small group therefore I'd want to visit this location again perhaps inside our next Tagaytay trip. They also provide draft beers and I had the Pedro English Ale. Tasted just like the popular Brew Kettle brand name. They have not a lot of supply during our check out perhaps because of the surge of clients during the weekend. Prices was reasonable and won't really harm your feelings. This could be an excellent meal stop for all those generating to Sonia's Garden for a day garden stroll.

Only went here due to the advertised Craft Beer selection. My connection with the Philippines has trained me to inquire availability before committing. Therefore before purchasing from the menus I examined the beer I needed was available. Following a 5 moment wait I requested againand obtained confirmation. So foods was ordered also it was excellent. Components were first class and very new. The reason why I could only price 3 out of 5 is basically because they lose 1 tag for making us feel just like we was maintaining them from closing. They advertise closing at 10pm why had been the craft beer all of a sudden unavailable from 9.15pm? And really, I really do need to know why! Because no explanation was presented with but I could experienced San Miguel or Red Horse. Pardon me but I'm right here due to your Craft Beer choice. Very poor guys. Type this out or you will not see us again.

Crazy Juan was the white whale during our recent visit to Tagaytay. The very first time we attempted, they ran out of meals past 4 pm therefore we'd to eat at another restaurant that had actually bad food. We returned to Crazy Juanand was turned aside again since they had a functionality that day. Obviously, all that waiting produced us a lot more curious. We finally surely got to eat here on New Year's Day time. Ate two pasta meals - Adobo pasta and another cream-dependent pasta (forgot which - that was probably great because my kids ate it rapidly). The buffalo wings fused with caldereta had been also great. The risotto sa gata has been alright - we ate an identical homecooked dish in Angono (suman with tablea) and may not help but evaluate. There were other meals we purchased but I cannot remember now. Right now, for the buts - a) food was good however the place had plenty of mosquitoes! My partner, who has very delicate skin, obtained the worst of it because her feet weren't quite included in her foot socks. I actually killed one prior to the food. A lit candle supplied by the staff assisted a little but we'd to open a windows and allow cold wind directly into get some relief. b) The Krispy Kasoy Kare-Kare came late, whenever we had almost finished our dinner. We only noticed as the rice was operating out plus some of us were utilizing the pasta as a viand. I don't actually know very well what happened but I believe there is a mix-up in your kitchen. I also pointed out that the vegetables had been half-cooked as if that they had to rush as the kare-kare was therefore late. I also trust one reviewer on the sweetness of the dish. This is simply not my final rating because of this restaurant though. At some long term date, I'd like to use it again - hopefully whenever there are fewer mosquitoes.

We had no option but to check within here since we needed a location to spend the night time in Tagaytay. The area was thoroughly clean enough and the staff had been helpful and accommodating, something rare even yet in some 5 star hotels in Manila. The area hada nice Western really feel to it. There's some see of the Taal from the restaurant. Many thanks Wild Juan!
