The Breakfast Desk is among the many dining places along Maginhawa St. in Quezon Town. I like the decoration of the area. The blue and whitened colour scheme reminded me of Mykonos. The eating place is small, nonetheless it doesn't experience cramped due to the highceiling and white wall space. Their menu shows plenty of breakfast options. Apart from the types printed on the menus, they also present a “build your personal breakfast” menu. Here it is possible to choose which rice you need (plain, sardine, espresso or garlic rice), the way you need your eggs prepared (fried, scrambled, boiled, salted or poached), which primary dish you should have (Tuguegarao/Vigan/Cabanatuan/Poultry/Baguio longganisa, tocino, danggit, pusit, bangus tinapa, daing na bangus or beef tapa), and also a part dish. Each product is priced separately, so that you can have even more control of one's options. I like this sort of menu, so we are able to have specifically what we want rather than waste anything. We purchased the Vigan and Tuguegarao longganisa in addition to the pancake. I furthermore experienced the TBT cooler - a refreshing beverage made out of calamansi, tanglad, pandan, malunggay and muscovado. It had been a welcome rest from the summer temperature! The pancake was massive! It was fluffy rather than too sweet. I simply wish they provided a aspect of bacon or sausage to go along with it. The meal of the longganisa, however, was too small. Just two small parts per order. We'd to ask for yet another purchase of longganisa, which we shared. The meals was okay. Prices have become affordable. Parking could be a problem, like with nearly all establishments in Maginhawa Road.

I have already been to the Breakfast Desk in a previous go to in January and, as the meals wasn't exceptional, the produce your own breakfast menus was, at the very least, something new. Came back again with my wife looking to have the help to make your personal breakfast but themenu had changed to the per-plate order. I ordered Tapanation including either rice, 2 eggs cooked how you wanted then and beef tapa. Food was, once again, unexceptional. The beef tapa wasn't extremely flavourful. I believe they were choosing subtle. It didn't flavor commercial therefore i think this is a homemade recipe. Eggs had been cooked nicely and fresh so that is clearly a plus. Meal was also minimalist with just about 100g of the tapa. I paid PHP 305 plus service cost and taxes for my meal including a glass of Kalinga espresso. The coffee was very good and was really worth the PHP60 it costed. General, though, the helping wasn't enough. That can be done much better with other dining places in your community which serve breakfast, specifically the ones that serve buffets. If you're searching for a nice spot to have breakfast together with your companion but aren't very choosy together with your food volume and flavour, the Breakfast Desk is the spot to be. Good, basic decor. Clean and properly lit place. Little seating capacity also designed for a cozy ambience. If you are searching for flavour and value for the money, look elsewhere.

Love the inside of this restaurant. They're mostly upcycled components and the glowing blue and white colour scheme is quite tranquil. My in history fave is their adobo omurice. Attempt their taho shake which works out fast. Am not just a breakfast eater so it is agood thing you can find restaurants such as this who assist all day long breakfast menu that I could try any moment of the day! They source almost all their elements locally because they're farm to desk advocates. Servers are usually helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Superb breakfast food and special combinations, courteous staff, but limited parking. Far better go very earlier or simply very late. Also, they are not punctual with 7:00am opening. Occasionally they don't open up at all at 7am because of fumigation, etc. Nowadays I purchased fried chickenon pancakes that is mildly lovely and mildly salty, scrambled egg whitened, and farmers tea (Salabat/ginger with lemongrass). I keep returning at least once weekly. At other periods I simply order arrozcaldo easily want a light food, or if I such as a heavier dinner Adobe or binagoongan omurice.

I actually ordered their super pancake and the sit down elsewhere. The coffee really was good and was just Php 60. The pancake however was extremely disappointing. It had been served burnt using one side so when I took a glance at another side it wasstill quite pale and appeared under cooked. However, I required a bite and the batter had been nevertheless undercooked. I discreetly inquired the wait personnel to please own it returned to your kitchen because it seemed natural. The wait personnel was nice and required it back. Once the pancake returned it didn't look much better. The guts was still partially natural, burnt on one part and under prepared on the other hand. I got a bite once again and I could not eat it. I made a decision to pay for the expenses and left. Espresso was good, the area is beautiful, however the food was horrible.
