I assume Sari is from Maria Rosario, who owns the place. The ambiance was Barrio Fiesta type, but that didn't deter us three starving tourists. Our lunch time the prior day was a little disappointing, in a eating place close to the Mitra ranch. Therefore, whenthe waiter suggested kare-kare we turned it lower, because that has been what we had the prior day. We chose rather the combined grilled platter - shrimp, clams, fish, pork belly, poultry, and mud crab. All had been fresh, scrumptious, and correctly seasoned. The resident crab professional pronounced it as exceptional. Another dish was pinakbet- blended vegetables, with string beans, eggplant, squash, and bitter melon, sauteed with pork and fish paste. Their edition has been with anatto, although I don't see what that introduced in to the dish. Still, this is among the best pinakbet I ever endured. Our knowledge was unexpectedly excellent. The price was affordable. The service was furthermore excellent, with the waiter quite knowledgeable of the meals. What an enchanting lunch that has been.

The Kare-kare was so tasty with an excellent compliment of good-tasting bagoong. The mixed seafood (mainly grilled) was also equally distributed with shrimps, clams, fish, squid and ocean weeds plus natural mango with bagoong... Exactly like in the baryo
