I’m no advocate for consuming food from near home when I’m overseas. However, I did so venture to the European Restaurant. I’ve been before (this past year when We was inside the Philippines) and We remembered this place because of its excellent home-made strawberry icecream, that i ordered again this season, and it was nearly as good. We had beef with greens and truffle essential oil mashed potato. It had been all well-marinated and designed for an extremely nice and filling lunch time. Assistance is efficient and employees are usually friendly- you’ll be produced to feel welcome. You should book ahead of coming although it isn't a requirement. So, for a geniune European bistro, check out Sala, located within the Greenbelt complex!

The meals was good, with solid fries that went with the tartare and cherished their drinks. Foods is as well pricey for portions though. Great service and atmosphere!

I am usually a fan of the top Chef’s restaurants. We visited Sala and Blackbird lately and were really satisfied. We visited Sala Bistro previously and, though it was no complement for another two (to be likely, given its title),it had been satisfying enough. NOT THIS TIME! The scallops had obviously been frozen for very long time (tough and rubbery). Regarding the snapper, it had been purely and basically not very refreshing, smelling and tasting very fishy. We refused it (and in fairness, they didn't charge for this). The wine list offers a not a lot of choice, at high prices (not just a wine at much less the Php 2,000; most wines around Php 5,000 and above. We were seated outside, close to the bar. The waiter had been extremely friendly and efficient. These comments aren't designed to hurt, but to draw the top chef’s focus on deficiencies he might not be familiar with, inside the hope the area returns to its previous level. We’ll try once again in a while.
