Next to the stunning church of Paoay and right before likely to the sand dunes crazy ride (need to have something in the abdomen for this journey) is the excellent restaurant Ruffino situated, A/C and incredibly good food - actually exact same best qualitylike in the headquarter eating place Bistro in Candon - a pleasure to go to and to benefit from the high quality of a Swiss trained chef and his crew. Congratulations.

Apart from the delicious meals, cozy ambiience and look at of Paoay Church, what sticks out approximately this Cafe may be the amazing customer support given by the proprietors, Chef Nic and his spouse Ms. Gwen. Strongly suggested for small group eating. Ms. Gwen is quite helpfulin creating a personalized buffet fare for a romantic group gathering. Only a suggestion, at sundown, when Paoay Church will be glowing in splendor, Cafe Rufino is merely perfect for an enchanting dinner.

Flip side: -cozy ambiance -airconditioned place -attentive and accomodating servers Down side: -it took forever before our orders were served (a lot more than 30mins for a straightforward salad) -taste and consistency of the meals was mediocre -pizza crust tasted want old bread -salad greens looked andtasted unappetizing

Recommend their pizza - just about all flavours. Crisp and slim crust with ideal toppings! Affordability. Waiters have become friendly!

It had been scorching hot at Paoay church and we were hungry aswell whenever we found Rufino's cafe at the nearby building. Their menu was the most common Ilocano food, and for me personally the taste was only ordinary, maybe aside from the chocolate and the blueberrycheesecake that my kids cherished. Their sizzling dinakdakan and pinakbet had been ok. I guess I've expected much since i have really was hoping to flavor and experience genuine Ilocano cuisine. It wasn't poor but something had been lacking. The service requirements improvement since we need to find chairs for ourselves due to the fact the area wasn't packed whenever we came there. The receptionist/waiters must have been even more attentive and accommodating. The waiters also took time before using our orders and the meals arrived like 45 mins afterwards after our first order. We've pointed out that the waiters had been pointing fingers to one another whenever customers have to be offered. Refilling our beverages took at the very least 5 minutes! It will be a total waste materials if Rufino's legacy will undoubtedly be tainted by mediocre provider.

Food is super great here, affordable too! It's airconditioned right here as well, which assists the scorching heat. The area will be cozy and filled up with memorabilia which you have to ask a issue about! Like you're getting a meal within an old Spanish home.Bagnet is delicious, tender and crunchy. Servers are usually friendly. A very important factor I would change may be the quantity of onions in the Sisig and Papaitan 😭 Think it’s great here tho

We discovered this place once we sought out restaurants near our resort in Paoay. The menus had standard Ilocano fare, all affordable. All the meals we ordered which includes dinengdeng, regional longanisa, and dinakdakan had been fresh, delicious, and filled with flavor. The program wasfriendly and hot. The atmosphere and decor had been quite welcoming.
