Still owned by exactly the same family yet modernized a little. We could actually order the most common favorites just like the seafood soup, kare kare and crispy pata. Tastes remain the same however the atmosphere has improved . In addition they own two other dining places soyou can combine orders with the original dishes.

It's been a decade since we visited this eating place. Decors and atmosphere have been updated however the food remains amazing. We ordered: 1. Kare-kare (oxtails in n peanut sauce) with bagoong (shrimp sauce). Gravy continues to be heavy and the peanut flavor is definitely dominant. Beings backmemory. 2. Crispy Pata (Pork knuckles) with soy sauce dip. Still fantastic. 3/4. Grilled tilapia and grilled white seafood wrapped in banana results in. Things with tomato, shallots and salted egg. Perfet 5. Pork tummy (Cevu style lechon). That is new but equally great. 6. Cebu design noodles (bihon) - also brand-new, different but very delicious. 7. White rice was wealthy and cooked perfectly The bill totaled Php2,200 or US$40 for 6 persons, you need to include drinks Really affordability. Service was the most common engaging, attentive and lively. The manager really was entertaining and provided us a brief history of the cafe while we were looking forward to the food ahead. Service was fast as well. Foreigners and going to Filipinos will enjoy checking out Filipino fine dining.

The kare kare can be among my favorites from right here. the bulalo sisig has been also good. All of the foods thatwe ordered was sufficient to be discussed at the desk. My family and I've dined here many times for days gone by years and the meals are consistent. We furthermore like the ambience and the truth that its walking length from SM once you feel like dining close by without going too much. Staff are courteousand useful.

Inside our 3 days stay static in Baguio, we kept in returning in Tsokaleteria but of simply no avail as there is constantly long lines of customers. We produced a reservation at 1:30pm final May 14, 2022. Upon arriving the area, a waiter and his areamanager approached, and well informed us that the location is reserved for 70+. They reasoned that the secretary who verified the booking has already been in her 14 days vacation, that is not appropriate since its inner to go over with customers. They were not apologetic instead advised us to consider other restos in SM Baguio. Extremely frustrating to experienced like passive and incredibly insensitive treatment.

Okay location, tables not too near one another, and food was superb, while some dishes and beverage were un-available for reasons uknown. And it will be helpful should they could point out in the menus which meals have shellfish and peanuts because of the guestswith allergies. Restroom however, were disgusting. EASILY were to dine there again, maybe.

Arriving the location, there have been no people yet within the restaurant, so an initial I has been okay, Josh the waiter had been an excellent server, he gave myself water while waiting around. I thought I'll wait a reasonable period of time. After one hour the manager(I believe his name was mart) had explained to wait for our crispy pata, I have already been waiting quietly for nearly one hour but I mentioned okay. It was simply unfair that the longer desk who came after me which had plenty of orders were served first. They gave me a free of charge palitaw but I believe the system ought to be fixed. First arrive first serve.
