Open Table is situated in the Damosa Gateway, from my observation, will be where young professionals head to hangout, to consume dinner or even to drink. The restaurant's interiors includes a contemporary industrial feel. Dark wooden and strong blacks were the primary color and materials used forthe home furniture and accents, and the ambient light completed the appearance, giving the room a relaxing feel. The meals served were the tofu and eggplant sticks, sausage and eggs, shrimp ceviche, pasta alfredo, angus beef sisig and salted caramel cheese truffle. The tofu and eggplant were a little bland inside it self, however the sauce helps it be a lighting and tasty appetiser. The shrimp ceviche could be explain in two words: fresh and clean. The shrimp examined as though it was pulled from the ocean and marinated in the salsa that complimented it with a fruity tartness. The pasta Alfredo gets the usual creamy sauce, but what stood out was the roasted garlic cloves contained in the pasta, it made this type of big impact for this type of 'small' addition. The angus beef sisig was alright. It had the most common taste of sisig however the consistency was like chewy surface beef. As the saying goes, save the very best for final, and the salted caramel truffle was thw highlight of the dinner. The caramel cheese truffle has been positioned over a puddle of chocolate sauce and topped with salted caramel sauce. For my very first scoop, I ensured that my spoon provides all the elements set up, the truffle, the caramel and chocolate sauce. The gentle velvety consistency of the cheese truffle wedded properly with the salted caramel sauce and the chocolate sauce. This is exactly what heaven tastes like. The laundry are familiar that makes it easy to pick from the menus, but their taste is uniquely Open up Table, they redefined comfort food and a notch much better than almost all restaurants in Davao that I am to. If you want comfort foods following a long trip to work, this is actually the place to go.

Been here several times for drinks. The area is clean and comfy. The service is typical but ok. Drink costs are very reasonable. EASILY was reviewing as beverages only place after that it could get 4/5 But I'm not... I'm reviewing asa bistro/eating place So I today know why the planet oil prices are thus high because this areas must use 25% of the world's essential oil to cook the meals. But merely to give it a bit more flavoured everything appears to be prepared in the same essential oil but only once they have burnt the oil Everything includes a greasy burnt oil flavor that coats the mouth area But they must want to make because that's what they carry out. Again and again before last droplet of humidity is teased from the food. It will be juicier if it had been overlooked in a desert for weekly Can they work the food in the right purchase... No. Can they offer the food simultaneously.... No. Do they treatment....? I will provide them with a generous 3 superstar but only keep coming back for drinks later on I'm off now to get some industrial de-greaser for my pallet

This hidden gem in Damosa happens to be a good find! Foods was tasty rather than so expensive -we attempted the truffle pasta, excellent. For dessert we'd the cheesecake balls - therefore yummy!

Friday night about 10pm. I bring my fiancee, her mom and her girl to the Open Desk in anticipation of an excellent food. We had been seated at the final available indoor desk and our purchase was taken. A lot more than 45 minutes afterwards emerged the followingresults: Coke had been unchilled, bagette has been stale, only 1 of the three foods ordered attained this time, others were an extra 15 minutes later. Items got so very bad during the wait around among the waiters found our desk to apologize stating the delay was triggered because there were just two cooks functioning at the moment. I purchased filet mignon with mashed potatoes and blended veggies. The potatoes and veggies were room temp when offered (and the area was cold) and the filet had been barely warm. Two people of the wait employees seemed to be brand-new and experienced to check with somebody before confirming simple queries. I know of no-one who likes hot coke, cool mashed potatoes and vegetables and stale loaf of bread because of their meal. I expect a lot more from the place with a 5-star rating because the Open Desk has. Waiting one hour for the dinner is also unacceptable.
