Right after dinner at Alab eating place at the UP Town Middle, the household searched for a good dessert place. Some needed a cake, others a lava with ice lotion scoop and in conjunction with a nice hot cup of coffee. Lastly, we noticed Nic's Pastries and werequite amazed with a wide collection of cupcakes, cakes, specific cookies along with other bundles of goodies. We purchased any cake that captured our attention and settled for 3 forms of cakes........a mango cake, a brazo cake and a good ice lotion with flowing lava cake. We enjoyed the dinner and went home content with our sweet cravings.

I'll discourage everyone who would like to attempt Nic's cakes in UP city middle... They sold me a vintage, super dried out slice of turtle pecan chocolate cake which could nearly make one choke because of being hard therefore dried out. I acquired a craving fora chocolate cake and attempted Nic's for the very first time. I purchased turtle pecan and chocolate espresso mousse. Overpriced at Php 120 for a little slice when it's days outdated cake. I simply ate the chocolate turtle slice also it was dried out, my plastic spoon cannot slice through it therefore i used a plastic material fork to pierce through the cake. EASILY did not need to commute the visitors of katipunan abenue once again, I would have came back the cakes I bought. Now I'm scared to use the chocolate eress... if the mousse can't be sliced easily, after that that is a whole lot worse. Nic's should get rid of old cakes, not really keep a good day old cake within their shelves. This is a rip off to market previous cakes and pastries market them enjoy it is fresh. Individuals who take out the buy, like I did so, might not really have the opportunity to come back or replace the purchase/s. Are they unaware other bakeries market all products at discounted costs after 8pm, to allow them to eliminate the breads and cakes they baked for your day. NIC's Is DISAPPOINTING!

I actually had a craving for clam chowder nonetheless it was not no problem finding in UP Town Middle when we were told that NIC's Pastries had clam chowder (but had not been in the menus), we took our chairs. In addition, I purchased a chickensandwich and my hubby purchased arroz a la cubana. The clam chowder has been a little salty and lacked the clam taste; my hubby thought he's had much better arroz a la cubana. The area was clear and had a good atmosphere; service was great however the food was so-so.
