An ideal meal for this type of busy friday... I liked the fishball noodle soup that is a perfect complement with the cozy atmosphere of the store’s inside. I also treasured their singaporean kopi. It provides condensed milk and evaporated milk. I'll definitely comeback ☺️😉👍👍👍

Formerly kaya, it retains the cuisine but seems pricier. Food is ready fresh and their beverages are a delight. obtain your poultry rice fix here

Before it had been named Nanyang, this exact same spot was referred to as Toast Box. The menus changed a bit however the entrees the previous Toast Box was identified for remained: kaya toast in conjunction with kopi/teh and soft-boiled eggs, hainanese poultry, fishball noodle soup, laksa. As always, the delicious cuisine from Singapore remained and the calm experience of dining somehow enhanced. With the influx of milk tea outlets sufficient reason for numerous coffee stores, the traditional Singaporean preparing of kopi and teh nevertheless stands out, at minimum for me.

I expect the food is ideal for I read all of the remarks regarding this cafe. The meals is good only equate to Wee Nam Kee. Don't order other meals aside from chicken rice. The others need to improve.

AMBIENCE It was a little noisy at the chairs close to the till but I really do appreciate lively areas. High chairs are for sale to toddlers and the entry is open for simple wheelchair access. The majority of the chairs are on the proper aspect and a fewmore are available at the left finish beyond the till. FOOD & BEVERAGE It was my first-time to use the Hainanese Fried Poultry Rice and I loved the crispy poultry skin! Meat was slim as expected and I must say i enjoyed lacking up my dips among bites. Soup was generally alright and the Honey Lemon had not been the sweet flavor I'm used to, nonetheless it was worth trying. SERVICE We ordered at the till but at the very least the meals was served at our desk. Waiting time was sensible.

I’ve been there considerable time to consume their Hainanese Poultry Rice. Occasionally ordered the bread. Good service. I’m really dislike their mee goreng, sort of tasteless equate to original mee goreng.

I actually had the kaya toast place that comes with tea or coffee and 2 soft boiled egg. the kaya spread itself isn't bad. the thing is, they get offered cold by enough time it reaches your desk. As in not just a hint of warmthon the breads whatsoever. The man who can make them moves soooo gradual. by enough time her spreads the kaya and devote the butter, the grilled loaf of bread has lost its temp. and then as soon as he's completed with the pass on, he slices them and sets them aside awaiting 10 more minutes just before it gets sent to the table. at that time. COLD Toast. Next the soft boiled eggs... they're overcooked. the yolks are generally hardened once you crack the eggs into your bowl. they might be ideal for ramen noodles, nevertheless - however, not for a toast. the only redeeming section of this set may be the iced milk tea. but it's minimum high quality at best.
