Food inside Max's is quite familiar to numerous Filipinos. Their fried poultry is iconic and will probably be worth craving for. Final Friday, we went as a large group and made a decision to have lunch time at Max's in the brand new Bonifacio Cease Over. We had been accommodated quicklydespite our huge number and received a long desk in the center of their relatively little space. We positioned our orders and waited....and waited. Our beverages were served a quarter-hour after our purchase and that place the tone concerning when the foods will arrive. By this time around the lunch crowd provides poured in and a range has shaped outside. I made many follow ups and had been always assured it will be out in five minutes. The rice emerged first an excellent 25 mins after. Another follow-up to at the very least serve the poultry as our dishes of rice were consistently getting lonelier by when. It arrived another ten minutes after. One at a time, every 5-10 minutes, a different one of our orders would arrive: the pansit, the fried lumpia, the tofu sisig, the chopsuey - as though we had been in a lauriat. The meals were all great - to be reasonable. But by that point, the staff were therefore stressed by the deluge of visitors they are lacking orders and requests still left and right. I acquired visuals of the indegent kitchen employees (I jokingly reckon there is only one individual manning the whole lot) struggling in the small space frying poultry and lumpia. A few of our orders in no way arrived. When we inquired for the costs our non-delivered orders had been included and just after several more a few minutes of convincing them that it didn't arrive that they could actually existing a revised one. I possibly could imagine their struggles during peak hrs but I'd like to believe that Max's being right here for a lot more than 50 yrs must have mastered the program of volumes of visitors.

Nice ambiance. But hands down the waiter forgot our purchase and provided us the incorrect food. But it's okay. I think he could be just nervous. Hehe

Without doubt, Max's Fried Poultry rank's very first in the class. The flavor is incomparably various. The trick: Max's utilizes pork lard from Chicharon manufacturers for frying, and that spells the difference.

Great cheap meal away which has yummy Filipino food. My mum has been craving halo halo and I needed adobo so this location ticked the boxes. We could actually get dinner and beverages for 6ppl for $30 AUD that is just so inexpensive in mymind. A location I’ll be trying once again before we leave.
