I am here maybe 5-6 times already. They're part of the HILLCREST group therefore expectations can work a little high. Unfortunately, those anticipations were just met the first handful of visits. Afterwards, every go to just grew to become a dismal shadow of the previousone. What's great? The siopao, the lemonade, the siomai What's poor? The mami/ noodle soup (Shocking, taking into consideration the name of the area). In my own last check out, the mami was certainly not really freshly made, and got small meats portions (I purchased the beef mami). The espresso (new home blend! it mentioned in the menus) was likewise bland. No house tea, money only, meals would cost you maybe 4 USD. The Ma family title is well known for noodles and dimsum in the Philippines but that one is either not area of the clan or simply riding on the title. Also to think that that is component of the HILLCREST dining places, it's shocking to findout how lousy the place is. Certainly two thumbs down. The costs they charge is basic robbery with how big is the servings that you will get. The siopao saves your day (because it's the identical to the one in HILLCREST). The noodles are usually bland and it's really interesting that the free of charge soup doesn't taste exactly like the one that includes your primary order. The area is messy and definately not the clean store picture of most restaurants. 2. This restaurant is right close to where I work. So that they know my noon hurry for lunch, nighttime soup while looking forward to my husband sort of thing. The women in this restaurant are usually so pleasant and accommodating. They provide additional soup when I request!I'm a 'suke.' So when I purchase, they make my meals fast and frequently deliver to where I function. Their food is principally like Chinese junk food. Simple, inexpensive and delicious. Their menus is also basic...uncomplicated. If you want to hold around inside however, not order, they're polite , nor ask you out. Espresso? Yummy therefore cheap!
