We were hoping a new Italian restaurant work by an Italian chef from Paris could turn into a place to get back to at minimum for a couple times but we were disappointed. The place itself appears reasonably nice therefore will the menu. Iam Italian, therefore i can tell once the food is authentic or not really. And in every fairness, the food had not been bad (but not great either) and incredibly reasonably priced. The big problem was choosing something from the menus which was actually available. We were 6 (2 families with young kids), proceeded to go there on a Saturday night time and at the very least half of the laundry we ordered weren't available. Not even burgandy or merlot wine! An Italian restaurant it doesn't have burgandy or merlot wine at all in a Saturday evening is unlikely to survive lengthy. We as a result had to choose beer also it was offered to us in a comfy can with a cup full of ice. This can be regular in South East Asia, but unacceptable in a genuine Italian restaurant: beer ought to be as cold since it gets and never actually diluted with ice! The Parmigiana we ordered had been also unavailable (even though waiter didn't actually bother to inform us: we surely got to know only once we didn't view it coming for a long time and followed up). The linguine al pesto were also unavailable. So basically we finished up eating just two forms of pasta and two forms of pizza. The pasta with polpette has been ok, however the meat had not been that clean. The pasta with vongole had been also just okay (it tasted a little like like mix fried). The pizza had been acceptable, although nothing to send a letter home about. All okay for 'any' restaurant, but barely acceptable for a freshly opened Italian eating place with claims of real authenticity. The service was awfully slow. Cutlery has been a particular request and was placed on the table in lumps. The waiter was having difficulties to comprehend our orders. The last pizza arrived great 30 minutes following the other pizza we'd ordered at once (all of this despite we were the only real customers in the restaurant). I must point out that all that is hardly surprising, due to the fact the owner had been nowhere to be observed in the premises about a Saturday night. Obviously lacking a lifestyle of practical hands management, this location might be able to attract only few local customer existing nearby but definitely not an Italian crowd. Unless the dog owner gets his acts together quick.
