We had supper in La Bouna eating place last Friday! This is a little "way to avoid it" to get this location! The parking is really a bit hectic because they talk about it w/ other (company stores, etc.) In the cafe, decorated with plenty of paintings, Italian design. Theambience is actually Italian, airy and pleasurable! My children and friends had standard spaghetti, calzone, and salads, the meals was excellent(al dente spaghetti to perfection!). The portions are usually large, we were therefore full, that only 1 of us experienced dessert- Tiramiso, and coffees. We enjoyed our foods, we would be again! Price is really a bit high, nonetheless it is really worth it! Highly recommended!

I read plenty of reviews of this cafe and generally dismissed the testimonials compiled by Filipino as they really do not know what Italian meals should taste like. Also then, the eating place had good reviews - therefore i went there. It had been aMonday evening and my wife and i were the only real customers. We ordered the Fettuccini and the Scallopini with Truffle sauce and the side salad. The Fettuccini wasn't too bad. Great flavour, but drowned in a flavourless cream - a few all-purpose lotion bought from the neighborhood Sari store without doubt. The Scallopine has been some indistinguishable, tasteless meat, high in essential olive oil with some dark paste smeared at the top. The salad comprised a leaf of Iceberg lettuce, three rings of onion and half of a nearby tomato - completely pathetic - also to add salt to the wound, the waitress presented me with a bottle of regional vinegar - suka, claiming that it had been Balsamic. I understand Balsamic and that wasn't Balsamic. While we have there been the owner arrived to the cafe, completely ignored us and sat behind the counter considering his cell phone. If you are searching for authentic Italian food - don't waste your time and effort, money or hard work going there. NOT AT ALL recommended. EDIT: After publishing the above review the dog owner PMed me personally and sarcastically suggested he should have cooked myself Kangaroo or even Cocodile instead. Sadly, he'd not manage to preparing either dish. Therefore not merely is he an unhealthy 'chef' but includes a bad attitude aswell.

I'm proudly Italian and I love trying Italian food on earth most remote control corners... to observe how my Paesani are usually transforming the neighborhood ingredients into our enchanting and tasteful tested recipes... Not a simple workout I admit, because Italian foods isn't only thesum of delightful substances, but they require a soul to turn out to be best spaghetti allo scoglio, lasagne, filetto al pepe, pizza Margherita, tiramisù, and 100s more... At "La Buona Forchetta" I've found the components and the soul, more to the excellent business of Paolo, a genuine Proud Italian surviving in Cebu for over 30 years... one word:CONGRATULATIONS PAOLO! I will write all of this in Italian, but I select English to spread my ideas to the biggest possible TripAdvisor community. Try out spaghetti ai frutti di mare, they're a fantasy and really Italian!!! Complimenti Paolo you should have them!

I actually gave myself two different possibilities to use this place away and Personally, i believe its dropped itself catering to the neighborhood tastebuds. The authenticity of it becoming true Italian is certainly not in the flavor of the meals anymore. In encounter, I wassomewhat unwell both moments the next day following a meal. Probably I'm simply unlucky, but I don't agree at all with another reviews of the place being genuine Italian meals. Its been altered to appeal to local taste buds.

Decided visiting this cafe during our Cebu vacation. And must state wasnt disappointed. The mushroom pizza (Ai Funghi Freschi) was great overall even though mushroom lacked a little bit of flavor. The corn soup has been fine. The Penne Arrabiatta had been superb, filled with true flavorand really among the best we've had. Great location for vegeterians obviously. The Tiramisu was excellent too but sadly they didnt have espresso...reason quoted has been that the coffee maker was busted. I'm uncertain if other plans couldve been produced...afterall you might never skip having some nice espresso at an Italian eating place. The service was prompt however somehow seemed quite serious. The area the restaurant can be found is nice and peaceful. But I have to say the interiors could be kept basic and vivid...somehow it looked as well over the top. I liked the entire experience and its own definitely worth the go to.

Since my previous evaluation was removed also it was so lengthy and detailed that I'm quite upset with Tripadvisor who allowed establishments like these to accomplish it, I'll go right to the point. They cheat at you: they state they have charge card machinetemporary no longer working, but it's a technique to just get money. Why? They don't really give you the official receipt, but only a waiter's purchase silp. Genius!! Quality of foods: indecent. Service and Staff: inquire further this is of service and high quality for them and you may just notice blank faces. You don't need to say anything else. The owner is frequently there, but he's such as not being there. Simply sitting, using the phone, not greeting customers to arrive or leaving; an excellent role design of a specialist entrepreneur! If also this evaluation is removed, then Tripadvisor can prove and present to be no impartial tool for goal reviews of actual encounters.

Some pretty harsh reviews here. I had been invited by buddies and the area is good. The meals is refreshing and tastey. The costs are great and the dog owner Paulo is really a friendly man doing his best. I'm european and several visits as well Italy done.Mainly within Italy for foods.... The meals retained its Italian tastes. No mixing Pinoy tastes of sugar and inexpensive oils. ... Test it out for I say
