Our band of 10 had supper at the Kuhkai Japanese Eating place. Even though place was a little full for supper, our food was offered promptly. Popped by for our every other month stop by at Mactan and opted this time around for his or her lunch special that was titled: Kuhkai Special. Took my team out there for an organization dinner and most of us appreciated sushi, sashimi moriawase, Kuhkai special bentos. Freshest seafood components and good crafted and yummy. Services is friendly and knowledgeable. Kuhkai is really a fine, fine Japanese eating place.

This is one of the greatest Japanese restaurants in Cebu. It's quite definately not the city correct. It's either you can be found in your personal car or have a taxi. Commuting will be a little bit challenging and time-consuming. At the very least, food here's reallygood albeit somewhat pricey. Service can be very good. I simply wish that its ambiance had been more "Japanese", with reduced or sunken tables, waiters dressed up in Japanese garb, sufficient reason for Japanese songs playing in the backdrop instead of English tracks of the 70's and 80's. But overall, this location is commendable because of its excellent food. Thumbs up!

This time around had the sashimi for 1 and 1 1/2 orders of the Unagi Don... To put it simply - both had been submlime... the sashimi has been fresh, fresh and properly presented... the Unagi meats were flawlessly marinated with soy and sugar and grilled... succulent meat... all inall - superb!

Visited this spot for supper, excellent quality to get the purchase price. A bit remote from the town but if you’re residing in Mactan Island, they provide free of charge shuttle to/from your resort which is quite convenient. Sushi/sashimi is great and fresh. Will certainly recommend andvisit again
