It's difficult to be always a Greek restaurant inside Manila- you inevitably get in comparison to Cyma, the benchmark for Greek eating. Kos holds well alone. You will find Kos at the bottom Floor of the primary building of UP Town Center, facing the atriumside. Spacious inside, it could hold couples or big groups. The wait employees are usually attentive and courteous, and understand their food well. In case you are in an organization, be sure you order the 5-sampler Mezedes. In conjunction with the unlimited loaf of bread supply, that is definitely mega affordability at 400p roughly. The breads basket contains Greek nation bread (rustic, dried out), Kos bread (the best, ciabatta-like in consistency), and pita triangles. The sampler we got got hummus, a semi-spicy cauliflower dip, Taramosalata (potato puree) and the heavenly Tzatziki (perfect stability of Greek yogurt, dill, cucumber and mint. yum!). There have been 5 folks (mostly large eaters), and we nevertheless couldn't consume it. Servings are Generous. Foods fall upward of 200p, but can simply be shared by 2. A must order may be the Kotopulo Me Riganates Skaras (roast poultry): Unbelievably flavorful, absolutely massive and includes roasted reddish colored peppers and potato wedges. I don't think it is possible to fail with any purchase. We got seafood (Grilled Salmon Fillet with Ladolemono), pasta ( Arni Me Kritharkia, lamb meatballs offered on orzo), pork chops, even Gyros and individuals were pleased with their meal.

The area has potential. The meals is good and preferences Greek. The lamb (a family group preferred) both in the meatball and the gyro had been tasty. The salmon was delicious. My lamb pasta has been very flavourful. It nevertheless, has zero ambience. It sensed like any ordinaryeatery. These were understaffed therefore the staff, though pleasant, were harassed and folks could see it. it is new thus maybe as time passes, it will create a Greek or even Mediterranean vibe.

This was one of the primary restaurants in the brand new UP Town Middle mall. It's unexpected that it is still operational given having less foot visitors it receives (other dining places around it are constantly full). This is why why we drifted right here since we are able to geta table instantly. After ordering, we noticed why - dishes are very costly and aren't that unforgettable. Positive thing service was pleasurable, though it creates me feel harmful to the continuing future of their cafe within their very competitive location.

Food tastes excellent. At par or much better than nearly all Greek dining places around. Ambience was furthermore good for quiet discussion with a romantic date but the drawback is the service. Foods came in half an hour once you ordered. If it had been 15-20mins, the meals might beworth the wait around.

That is Cyma with cheap. Quiet ambience. Few diners for Sunday lunch time. Very colorful menu, even though lamb chops was "Unavailable". Re-fillable pita breads with 5 options of dips for appetizer.

We picked Kos for the family lunch time because Greek meals has healthier choices. It didn't disappoint and their souvlakis had been great. The service was great and overall, I really was pleased by my knowledge. I'm just wondering you will want to too many individuals eathere once the price is sensible and the meals is great.

Kos is our favourite eating place in UP Town Middle! First, for students, the food is a good value for cash! The product quality and size is great. They also provide a complimentary basket of loaf of bread when ordering foods. And the bread isn't anyfluffy Filipino kind but a genuine European thing! We furthermore love the beverages - like cardamom ice tea and orange lemonade (the lemonades are fresh, genuine and self-made!). The area itself can be cozy and provides their own wifi that's mostly working. I'm a vegan, and you can find a couple of choices for me as well (though nothing that I'd really get proteins from...). My preferred is Briam, that includes different vegetables with essential olive oil, possibly cooked in oven. Basic but so good! Many thanks Kos and sorry regarding spending an excessive amount of there just consuming bottomless ice tea! :) <3

Being somebody from the south We was thrilled to get that there is the Mama Lou's branch within Quezon city however on our arrival we had been told that people are tenth in range so we just made a decision to look for someplace else to consume. Wespotted Kos simply across Mama Lou's and since there have been vacant tables we made a decision to test it out for. We dare state that we were fortunate that Mama Lou's had been complete that night otherwise we'd not need discovered this gem. We'd their horiatiki salata (PHP 220), poultry souvlaki (PHP 230), solomos (PHP 335), baklava (PHP 195) and basil lemonade (PHP 85). The stars of the night time were the solomos, a perfectly grilled little bit of salmon that goes well with a dash of lemon, and the basil lemonade where in fact the spicy undertones of basil enhances the sweet-tart lemonade. Chicken souvlaki was great too and I am hoping they would give a choice of helping it with tzatziki sauce. The crew were great and accomodating no request went unheard. As the restaurant includes a cozy, informal feel to it. Overall Kos serves meals whose quality reaches par with Cyma at a lot more reasonable prices. Probably they might add a bit more variation within their menus like customizable dips (please include taramosalata).
