Ive tried the very best japanese cuisine worldwide especially japan and i could say that this is among the best ive tried within the philippines. Inagiku will be costly. Japanese village like sereyna and kikufuji is usually overrated. But keizo will be one ofa kind particularly when the owner will there be. The futomaki is the greatest ive attempted. The sushi is very. Quality.

Came set for the sashimi about a saturday night time and asked the waiter if the sashimi has been good tonight. He stated it definitely was, therefore i purchased a spicy tuna sashimi for an appetizer and the uni don as my primary. The spicy tunawas reduce therefore badly that it tasted like leftover seafood trim and the uni don had been extremely watery. When i asked concerning the lapse in high quality the server explained that the sushi chef had your day off also it was the reliever preparing it tonight. In that case WHY did he inform me it had been a good evening to possess sushi. Anything to market quickly expiring product perhaps. To top everything off, my girlfriends chawan mushi (the steamed savory custard soup) arrived following the food was done. Evidently it takes half an hour to steam a chawan mushi, an undeniable fact that was overlooked as we purchased it. I requested that it be studied away once we were done consuming, but our waiter just about begged us to go on it as it will be arriving out of their own paycheck. Guilted right into a soup, thats always enjoyable. My girlfriend had the katsu curry and that, to be reasonable, was pretty good. Once the bill arrived, not just a term was said concerning the poor sushi, uni don or soup. The complete experience was the contrary of a soothing japanese dinner, and remaining a bad taste in my own mouth. I'll never keep coming back here for certain and i reccomend others to accomplish the same.

Among our friends made a decision to have lunch as of this resto. There is some confusion initially as there's another Keizo in regards to a block away nonetheless it will be their gastro pub. The chef is really a Japanese therefore the way the meals is ready isauthentic. Their salmon sashimi will be one of best I've tasted. The salmon will be best in quality - thick, really fresh, delicious and virtually melts in the mouth area. I had to purchase the spicy salmon sashimi topped with cruchies- furthermore good, not as well spicy. The Tonkatsu has been crisp, solid but tender. We'd the tofu in nice sauce - very smooth and tasty. Some other orders were gindara , poultry teriyaki, etc. Ordered a whole lot since we had been a large group and so we're able to taste various offerings. Generally, the meals was delicious. Prices had been at par with almost every other standalone Japanese restos. Chef will be pleasant and checks on client satisfaction. Place is little so be sure you reserve or come earlier if you're a big group. Only if for the salmon and tonkatsu, I am back here!

Outstanding food and generous quantities affordable. Make sure you visit the Keizo on 1st Avenue best by Burgos Circle, NOT the main one of the same title on Forbes Town Street (opposite Entrecote) which includes changed hands lately and reduced quantities substantially.

Great small restaurant, the dog owner has like passion and expertise! It’s little, but a pleasant eating experience.

Discovered this jewel within Burgos Circle. Authentic with a 5 year background as Best Cafe by Philippine Tatler and an elderly Japanese Chef who appeared very specialized in his craft. We tried three meals: the Tori Karaage Teishoko collection, the Tonkotsu Ramen andmy individual favourite- Chawan Mushi! In addition to the Dojo Matcha Ice lotion for dessert! Their servers were warm and pleasant. We brought our 5yo son around and we simply loved everything we purchased from the menu. Excellent! “Masarap!” Will definitely be back again for Sashimi and Sushi. ❤️

Its a little place... literally a vintage "hole in the walls" type of establishment. Its most likely open just in the evenings. But its usually jam packed.... producing that urban myth about itself...people whispering "should be an excellent place for Japanese meals" and staring with envyat the patrons. Its on my solution to function and I walk previous it everyday going back 5 years. Nevertheless somehow I never got myself to go check out. This week I possibly could no longer withstand the mystery and made a decision to clear points up and took an excellent friend along. I have to say that Keizo acts hands down the very best Japanese food I've ever eaten. They began with a free of charge octopus starter which simply excuded taste, high quality and Japanese food artwork. The Tori Kara Age group was the very best fried chicken I've ever endured...succulent, juicy and the ideal level of frying. The Mixed Sashimi has been pure heaven and the grade of the fishes just like the tuna, king seafood and squid was using this globe. The Fried Mackarel had been great if you want makarels. And the icing to the cake has been the Dragon Maki...ummph simply delicious...essential try! We dont know what it had been...the taste, the hole-in-the-wall ambience, japan chef toiling along on view kitchen or simply japan method of art and balance with cooking. All I could say is that in case you are in Manila and havent attempted Japanese foods at Keizo, you then are passing up on something special!

It had been delicious and savory. I just loved feeding on in authentic Japanese restaurantlike Keizo. A genuine deal with for a craving belly.
