The Emperor is among a set of restaurants in the big parking great deal privately of Victoria Plaza in "Bajada" in Davao Town. Inform any taxi driver you need to head to Emperor Restaurant and when they look puzzled state it's in bigarea close to Victoria Plaza...but everyone understands Emperor (and its own "cousin" Emerald Restaurant. The Emperor features chinese cuisine that's very authentic, tasty, ready and equisitely presented. Though authentic and obviously properly rooted in the traditions of chinese cooking food, the laundry at Emperor certainly are a little much less "conventional" and the chefs at Emperor prefer to "kick it upward a notch" to employ a signature expression of a favorite american chef. Shrimp balls can be found in many places inside Davao plus they are a chinese contribution to the myriad gustatory delights inside Davao Town. But at Emperor, the Shrimp Balls are usually meaty-to-the-max (no gummy fillers) and each "ball" will be on a stick. An easy task to eat and retains your fingertips clean but.....don't dispose of the stick once you finish...bite involved with it. Yes, bite in to the stay that kept the Shrimp Ball as the "stick" is really a sliver of delightfully nice sugar cane! View a finish to an excellent appetizer. And if you need your table to get a range of delectibles, include the Bacon Wrapped Seafood Roll (conventional bacon, not the neighborhood things) or the Mango Seafood Roll. The entrees are to die for, but be cautious. The menu generally offers you either items in small, moderate and large servings. In case you are American be cautious ordering a variety of "small" products with the purpose of sampling each. At both Emperor and Emerald, "little", "medium" and "large" actually mean sizes for little families, medium households and large families. Therefore order accordingly.

Restaurant had a good ambience and decor, assistance has been attentive. Had the very best salted egg fried crabs i actually ever tasted, really tasty and excellent flavour. Tried several meals, including fried pigeon, that was also pretty unique.

We were of this type at the Victoria complex to locate a cafe after we found Davao late due to the delayed flight in a down-pouring rainy June 13th from Manila to Davao. Even made a decision to remain for a night... therefore we had been lookingfor a good meal for the hungry stomach. We discovered this restaurant prepared to accommodate us. The tasty soup was nice warm to feel inside our hunger and the nice staff that produced us comfortable. We finished up pleased and thankful for the wonderful dinner.
