The region where this restaurant is situated has I think the best density of Chinese restaurants in Davao and recently Korean restaurants aswell. I'm uncertain if Emerald is the greatest but if its not really its many 2 thinking of it's outnumbered 4to 1 by its major competitor ( unless they just have one owner). I'll not really say if the meals here is genuine Chinese but it's one of the several areas in Davao that may be so. What I understand is that food right here tastes great. I attempted their dimsum, the short purchase noodles, main course warm pots, poultry, lechon macau - although I'm not just a fan of the one, and I usually end up overeating. The one thing I can't stand is that the area isn't friendly to married couples eating and appear to cater big groupings or families.

The best affordability dish is their sauteed scallops with garlic and broccoli. The servings are usually huge so be cautious together with your orders. All seafood orders we positioned came in refreshing. Yum!

After going all too often compared to that other Chinese resto close by, we made a decision to try Grand emerald Seafood Backyard. Located among the dining places behind the Victoria Plaza, it really is towards the rightmost wing of the car parking lot. The place will be a lot cleaner than other chineserestos!!-- especially their restroom- thank God! We ordered their seafood hotpot with the ocean cucumber and their humba pao. Oh boy the servings were large-- best for 2-3 people, we were so filled with the ocean cucumber, we'd the humba pao wrapped to move. We had to request the waiter, pls don't stick it in a plastic material bag, stick it in a proper meals container, and he do without charging us additional compared to some other restos that cost P10- P20 for containers. That is clearly a plus!
