We had a family group dinner here and really was disappointed on the meals and the helping. The squid isn't sizzling anymore and contains an extremely small serving around 4 in . and overcooked, the baked scallops are usually overcooked, the crispy pata had been furthermore overcooked, likedyou are consuming a rubber, everything an extremely expensive price. Won't recommend this place in case you are having a family group dinner.

The meals and service is great. We ate there for lunch time and supper and tried different products on the menus and the food didn't disappoint. The shift supervisors were also really courteous.

We been here a couple of times before which time the knowledge was horrible! This is simply not the Golden Cowrie we utilized to learn. I think they will have a different management today. It got them like permanently before our orders had been served. The meals qualityis below typical. It had been really disappointing. Never once again will we get back to this restaurant.

On Sunday 27th I was on a romantic date and decided to arrived at the Golden Cowrie. Extremely bad choice. We ordered 3 meals: tuna belly, cooked veggies and the salad.Tuna tummy was overcooked and dry out as hell. The veggies got non seasoning and flavor reallyblunt. But that which was really shocking, it had been an extended black hair that people had inside our salad. We questioned the supervisor why the staff isn't using hairnet in your kitchen and she stated she would investigate. The very best the supervisor could do, it had been to cancel the purchase from our costs, no sincere apologies whatsoever. What happened is actually not acceptable, no regard of the hygienic and sanitation guidelines no respect for clients. They should improve and boost their standards. Assistance was very slow as well.

This location is a walking range from the hotel. We made a decision to have dinner right here and was extremely disappointed. We purchased gintaang mongo, escabecheng taguige, pinakbet and ice lotion. The mongo was lovely and I simply can't stand it. Rather than contacting it escabechengtanguige they ought to call it nice and sour tanguige. The pinakbet had been also quite sweet. Ordered for his or her pork sinigang and adobong kangkong via meals panda and my goodness it had been a disappointment. Thepork sinigang that arrived had only two bits of pork that has been mostly fat, almost no meat and soup - that has been it. For the total amount I covered it at a high price, it was not really worthwhile at all! I would’ve probably been much better off getting foods from the carenderia stand, it would’ve been method cheaper! It wasn’t actually wow, how can it be when all I possibly could possess from the food was just soup.

I am an enormous fan of Filipino foods, and my golden cowrie knowledge is worst. we purchased sizzling gambas nonetheless it arrived as a shrimp omelet. purchased crispy dinuguan but the pork has been cut so little that it appears and flavor like toasted groundpork in a phony dinuguan sauce. it doesnt also flavor anything like dinuguan. shrimp sinigang flavor was okey, but just 4 pieces medium dimension shrimp onto it. the atmosphere is good however the food isn't worth the purchase price. staff aren't even attentive. too occupied chit chatting. not to mention, the manager, hes simply sititng in a single corner not problem about whats taking place around him.

The Golden Cowrie had amazing native meals. I find the kinilaw (fresh, raw seafood marinated in vinegar with tomatoes and onions) and Bicol convey (fish prepared in coconut milk with a hint of ginger and spices). Washed it down with a cool, green mango shake.
