Surprisingly, Golden Cowrie isn't a homegrown CDO establishment...It has its roots inside Cebu Town, where it really is quite known because of its great, affordable native cuisine. It enjoys exactly the same popularity inside Cagayan de Oro, with the Rosario Arcade branch always filled with diners, whetherlunch or even dinner time. Following a disappointing lunch at among the city's most discussed homegrown dining places serving native cuisine, we tried Golden Cowrie for supper that exact same night. And we're able to not need been happier and pleased. Good on all counts I possibly could think about - prompt provider, efficient waiters, high quality and freshness of meals, helping portions, affordable and reasonable costs. We ordered Imbao Soup, Grilled Tanguigue Steak, Bangus Sisig, Calamares, Adobong Kangkong, Crispy Dinuguan and Crispy Pata (cloggers!!). Aside from the dinuguan, that could use some flavor improvement (benchmark will be Kanin Club's authentic Crispy Dinuguan), everything really was good. Without doubt, this needed to be our best dinner during our 4-time holiday split in CDO. And so, I create a mental take note that we should try out their original Cebu branch the next time we're in that area of the country.
