When within Binondo, we never skip purchasing Eng Bee Tin's specialties. The existing favorite of my hubby and son may be the Lava Pao. I furthermore just like the ube asado siopao and ube egg tart. The various varieties of hopia may also be among our favorites. Ilike the traditional mongo hopia and the custard hopia.

Very refreshing hopia and quite brand-new. Bought mine at Money and Have Mall and its own right in the center of their supermarket outdoors. Retailers are attentive and fast. Slightly more costly than Polland brand name. But their hopia will be gentle and less flaky.

This is your head to place for that good ube (Purple yam) or munggo (Mung Coffee beans) hopia (local pastry with fillings). The employees are always very useful also trying to explain to you the expiry and the best way to maintain your bought goodies. In addition they serve somehot snack foods at the front end of the store to satisfy your fast tummy fixes. The only real problem is car parking if you're going there together with your car. This is a challenge in case you are alone.

The brand new building also houses a restaurant (Great Buddha), and events place for seminars and much larger gatherings. However the ground flooring is where you discover all of the yummy pasalubongs! All the new tastes of tikoy ( less sugars, ube, corn, langka, dark brown glucose, and thelimited edition cheese taste, etc.) in every sizes, including prepared to eat bite dimensions are available here (and not often within their other, smaller shops in malls). Plus all of the hopia that melt in the mouth area and distinctly eng bee tin - ube the very best seller, but furthermore the initial mongo and combi tastes like langka/ube, pandan/macapuno, etc. You can find so many goodies right here that you really require a shopping cart to fill with all of your finds simply because you snake the right path to the cashier thru what I call the Tikoy Alley. There is a range of other yummy meals, e.g. the best kikiam, machang, pork floss, buchi, etc. Btw Eng Bee tin's buchi may be the most tasty I've tasted - and I don't also like buchi all that very much! It's a positive thing that we now have now Eng Bee Tin branches in main malls all around the metro thus we won't need to brave the visitors trekking completely to Binondo to possess our regular repair of hopia. The place can be quite inviting - spacious and interestingly-decorated. At the next floor (they will have escalators!) may also be souvenirs and Chinese fortunate charms that you will need at least half an hour to browse thru. We'll definitely be back again - it is a habit!
