From the exterior this place looks very casual and the name implies desserts instead of main meals but that is definately not the case. They have a thorough menu, supplying a good selection of dishes. The food is ready and presented and served very hot.The fish and chips particularly were good, although they use frozen fish (again, why? on an island encircled by seafood), it wasn't soggy and wet and was included with a good crisp batter. Support was prompt and effective. Staff are joyful and friendly. The number if desserts was ok, but if you ask me could possibly be more extensive taking into consideration the name of the area. What they do possess though is great and fresh. Really worth considering for meals.

We've enjoyed DF maybe 40+ times but constantly around mid-day and 24 months ago. It's still exactly the same, to it's credit score. Clean, nicely appointed, delighted, nice young employees. Actually best created for breakfast and lunches I would recommend. We had supper because our nearest choicewas closed - Tandoori poultry and Curry poultry we ordered also it was ok, nothing at all brilliant but ok, once we would expect. Tag had been our waiter and we chatted to the good son in the Harlequin cap. The rice was cold in both meals so we asked " could this be heated?" The son returned and stated " sorry Ma'am, unable, as the rice cooker offers been switched off." Also it was right before 7pm! They couldn't actually invent a believable lie! And they are the difficulties of running a chain of dining places - getting personnel with a brain!
