This was actually another option since our first restaurant choice will not accept reservations. Went with my children for my sister's birthday celebration dinner. Meals on the menus are mostly predicated on Jose Rizal's (nationwide hero) characters similar to the reataurant's title. To simplify, weordered strong fried catfish, dinuguan (bloodstream stew), lengua (ox tongue), fried pork tummy, laing (taro results in in coconut milk), kangkong (drinking water spinach in oyster sauce), salad with crispy squid, steamed rice, a few beverages and chocolate cake for dessert. There have been 6 folks and bill found about P600+ per head. Pretty good since we absoutely liked the food. Service was efficient because the place isn't that big and there are many wait personnel available. The square tables had been too little for 6 pax (2 small tables joined jointly). Best to obtain the round types. They sell bottled products- preserves, pickles, sweets, etc named following the proprietor/chef Florabel. No toilet in the restaurant much like nearly all establishments in UPTC. Standard toilet is a few steps apart tho. Overall, our experience has been satisfactory and I would recommend this place in case you are craving for genuine Filipino cuisine.

My aunt and her family arrived final weekend break from aboard so needless to say it is time to have a family collecting. Since our balikbayan family members will need to have missed our genuine filipino cuisine, I chose Crisostomo Eating place at UP Town Middle though I haven't attempted their foodbefore and simply relied on positive on-line reviews. Given that they don't acknowledge reservations during Fridays to Sundays, I acquired my buddy arrive early to obtain us a desk (or 2) since we were 17 visitors. We had been seated in 2 independent tables for they couldn't accommodate us in only 1 long desk, which we didn't brain. We'd 2 orders of the next: Sinigang ng Hacedero, De los Santos plate (meats and seafood platter), Caracol (kuhol in gata) appetizer, Sinang con Laing, Don Rafael (Crispy pata) and kangkong consuelo. And boy, Crisostomo didn't disappoint us. The meals arrived quite quick and were devoured quicker. Almost all their food were excellent. The waiters were effective and quite affected person with my inquiries to check on the food and beverage orders of another table. These were even happy to handbag us all the tiny leftover we had. Most of us went home complete and happy. Will certainly be coming back
