My balikbayan friend asked for something Filipino dish so we recommended Cabalen since we were inside SM. She appreciated the food choices, and Cabalen is in fact her preferred during her Makati times in the late 1990's. Anyway, it was a satisfying dinner... but I hopeyou will respond rapidly when customers observe that the floor close to the hand washing region is slippery due to water dripping. I nearly slipped. Thank you!

We came in about 6.30pm. The picture outside is indeed enticing However in reality, the meals and service is FAR below our expectation.IT HAD BEEN SHAMEFUL BRINGING MY BALIKBAYAN Inside LAWS THERE. How can you really "Eat whatever you can, consume all you have to" ifthey were super gradual in replenishing the meals or no substitute at all after the serving plate offers been emptied. The image of shell of mussels may be the same when we arrived in and out. They labelled bulalo nonetheless it was simply soup. They labelled pla-pla but only little head of the seafood. They labelled hito but once again,only head can be acquired. "HOME OF THE GREATEST KARE-KARE" who want kare-kare sauce just???? The slices of bico is about 1inch×0.5inch! The dessert area is evenly frustrating. Exactly what will you perform with chocolate fountain with just marshmallows to dip? The plastic material container of drinking water is dirty. Plates had been cracked. The buttomless ice tea is similar to an instantaneous litre pack blended in 3 litres of water. After about 10mins of paying the expenses, I reminded the waiter for the receipt. And he provided back our receipt however, not the change!!!! THIS RESTO Can FOREVER BE BLACKLISTED In OUR FOODTRIP.
