We thought the Cabalen Davao will be much better than the SM Cebu branch. Worse tthan the Cebu branch. Food is Cool, the softdrink - based on the supervisor does not have any "spirit", The lechon kawali that me and spouse ate - have cyst this means thatpurchasing supervisor didn't check the pork that will come in - the supervisor working got the plate and delivered it inside the cooking area. Prior to that whenever I questioned for a supervisor thhe need to ask the key reason why, I informed the waiter it really is about the foods........showed your pet the lechon kawali. .....IT HAD BEEN NOT WORTH IT ...THE THING THAT WAS APPLIED FOR FROM OUR BILL Had been THE SOFTDRINK.....many thanks........DO i Recommend? not at all in this life time! anyways what can you expect from 300++ However, we've lesser price buffets in Davao Town, had never encounter this kind of problem. Lesson learned? BROWSE THE REVIEWS FIRST!

The Cabalen inside SM Town Davao Annex is fairly small however the place is tidy. Employees were friendly and great. Food choices had been Filipino cuisine and is bound. But its really worth the purchase price if your on a buffet for Filipino meals and on a tightbudget.

We dined within this eating place with my children. Few positive points : 1. Its a comfort foods, mostly Filipino dishes. 2. The Kare-kare is tasty. 3. Staff were helpful. The downside are : 1. The refill is as well slow. 2. Meals is cool. 3. Theyburned my sisig. 4. Insufficient employees to cater the clients. This cafe is recommend in case you are on a budget.
