Oh, where to start. Possibly our worst dining experience, ever. Dined here with friends and family. Because we were seated outside, it was difficult to call for a waiter's attention. There are a number of tables in this area and we wondered why they wouldn'tstation even just one waiter here. It was a pain to order each time. My friends who did the 'boodle feast' weren't happy with the seafood. Not fresh. Pork barbecue was chewy. Veggies were limp. We tried to order sinigang na hipon which wasn't available, and the sinigang na ulo ng salmon which wasn't available too. Waiter mentioned that among the dishes that have soup, only the Batangas beef bulalo was available (doesn't resto name say 'seafood'?!). Bulalo came years after and my dad couldn't even get a bite of the meat. It was too tough. And there wasn't much meat, nor veggies. That mess called bulalo is priced at almost P500. We asked for the manager and a waiter ignored us. We asked other waiters to call the manager for us and one of the waiters gave a mobile number so we could "text" a complaint or feedback. We called the number right then and there and no one answered. Rated the resto 'poor' and not 'terrible' just because its location is tops.

We visited the branch in Market Market Taguig for my birthday. The place was a bit relaxing and I loved the cool temperature inside. We chose the Boodle Meal Chang Yaw something ...this was not as salty as their other food. The waiting time is fair and theprice of the meal itself is fair .The only thing that truly added up to the bill was the Ice tea which is Php 210 per pitcher and the pitcher was quite small. The staffs are ok but not that attentive needed to call their attention several times before they attend to the customer.Overall it was a great meal for my Birthday celebration.

We ordered bulalo and grilles liempo. The liempo was cold and the bulalo tasted artificial. The bulalo was expensive too. We'll try their boodles next time

So if you really love being ignored by staff & food quality that is inconsistent between visits this is the place for you! The dishsoap tuna jaw was well... a new adventure. A redeeming point was the Bar-b-q pork, that sauce was pretty great. However,at a seafood place the fish, shrimp and other seafood selections are what I expected to be raving about. This was highly recommended, they also have a location in Baguio city that is not interested in treating their customers like this. So when in Baguio great, just not in Manilla.

Food here is really amazing. The presentation of the food is very entertaining. My friends and family had a wonderful time eating with our hands. Something you don't really do on a regular basis. Sharing the meal with foreign nationals gave us lots of laughs. We will surely go back here. I hope they can come up with group meals at a discount. This is quite expensive.

Blackbeard's Seafood Island is a good place to have a food boodle fight. It was our FIRST time to dine and will be the LAST. We ordered one of their feast and WAS ASKED BY ATTENDED WAITER "HOW WE LIKED/ WANTED OUR FISH TO BECOOKED." Whether it be Steamed, Sweet and Sour etc. - We had our choice. Take note: Waiter mentioned it was a TILAPIA FISH. Then when it was being served in the table we were asked to raise both our hands in the air. I don't know if the waiter was trying to be funny but he stated to us the word "Hold up" - 'HOLDAP'. (Filipino Term for Robbery) Waiter offered to take our picture together. Rather than say "cheese", he said to us say 'HOLDAP' - What bad term to hear but for the sake of not being a kill joy gave it a chance. Food was served between 20-30mins. Okay, we had our meal. Between our meals I remember clearly the assigned waiter had to leave and said good bye to us. The food was great - okay. Afterwards we asked for the bill. And to our suprise. UNEXPECTED. Written in the receipt was a LAPU LAPU Fish which cost PHP 1,700.00 each. For a single fish? Our total cost was PHP 1,300.00 And the bill given to us was PHP 4,800.00. We paid our estimated cost. Left afterwards complaining loudly to the manager who seemed to be in "ON THE STING" It was a dark move. Complete robbery. Beware of this MODUS OPERANDI.

Seafood Island is a go-to dining place for big groups. Try to ear with bare hands and washing area is available in the establishment. No bad experiences during previous visits but note that crabs and shellfish is not always as fresh.

If you are thinking of having a boodle fight, here's the place to go to. There are many choices of what boodle food you want, Love this place a lot, we've been going there for 9 years now and we always enjoyed it.

My family and I decided to see some relatives around the Makati area during our last few days in the Philippines. They recommended this place for lunch, and we followed their lead since they were local. Unfortunately, I didn't eat much because I had gastroenteritisa few days before eating here. However, the few food I did eat were good. The rest of my family seemed to enjoy it. We ordered sinigang, kare-kare, and pancit...I forget what else, but we ordered a "boodlefight" style meal. Service was standard. Will I return? It won't be my first choice, but I'll give it another try. Maybe I'll have a better experience next time considering that my stomach was ultra-sensitive when I we ate here.
