There are several budget eateries in Binondo but Big Bowl Noodles is the best. It is a great "no frills" eating place. The decor is useful and basic but clear. The staff usually do not use uniform and the menus are photocopied so it's obviousthat they don't purchase trappings. Service isn't fast because all meals is cooked to purchase so expect to wait around 15 to 20 mins. This is a 10minute stroll from Divisoria. The meals is fantastic! Rice toppings is definitely popular in Chinatown in fact it is possible to get a good meal for under PHP150. Yang Chao rice is strongly suggested with the best of Hot and Sour Soup, Lovely and Sour Poultry (not on the menus but cooked on demand), Fish Fillet inside Tausi Sauce (Dark Bean Sauce) and Minced Pork and Egg Plant. Servings are usually generous and when you cannot surface finish all the foods, just ask to obtain everything you couldn't eat! Well worth a trip!

Delicious food, however, not so excellent ambiance. :D I really like their hofan and their spicy noodles. Big servings as well, so if your urge for food is not big it is possible to talk about a plate/bowl with another person.

Too bad, the area has the right food. I love their King Dao toast. Sort of Chinese spaghetti - generally steamed or blanched noodles topped with heavy sauce of surface pork. But the services is just terrible. The area is scorching, the crew inattentiveand a pal recounted one where in fact the crew were quite rude (refused to function service water). Some people have to realize that a cafe is a lot more than just food, it's assistance that is why it's called food program and dining can be an experience.
