Among the joys of journeying is having the possibility to discover new dining establishments that offer new flavors and various versions of my traditional favorites. In my own recent visit to Davao, we headed to Beso, the trendy restaurant by Yellowish Fin Davao along UniversityAve. near Philippine Women’s University. The moment we enter, we were greeted by way of a neat eating area with simple but elegant furniture, nice lights hanging from the ceiling, and warm smiles from the personnel. The ambience of the area made me thrilled to try the laundry which are among the best Filipino-Asian meals and specialties of the spot. When I checked the menus, my eyes were instantly attracted to the Yellow Fin best-sellers section including steamed pompano and lechon kawali. We furthermore got tuna laing which my pal suggested. The steamed pompano had been absolutely divine. They utilized the freshest fish that was seasoned flawlessly. Beso’s lechon kawali appeared different since it wasn’t the most common pork tummy slices. The liempo has been sliced into strips and layered and topped with crispy, golden-brown body fat. Its taste was made better still by the three condiments that arrived with it. The surprise for me personally was the tuna laing since it wasn’t the most common laing with pork or shrimps. It had refreshing tuna (not really canned) with it that was something brand new for me. It had been really delicious specifically with the thicker coconut lotion and the dilis rice that was included with it. For the drinks, most of us had guyabano shake that was served generously and really was refreshing after all of the fat-rich foods we'd. Since we were the only real diners that point, serving period was fast. The personnel were very warm plus they ensured everything was great during our stay. Beso happens to be a new must-visit eating place for me personally when in Davao. Can’t wait to return to use their other dishes.
